This really is tragic as the cops are simply enforcing the law.

The mob around them are throwing bricks at cops and hitting them in the head knocking them out-which is attempted murder, and a felony in Wisconsin.

Sadly, this violence isn't not constrained to Police only, it also extends to other citizens, like the owner of a car dealership in Kenosha.

I am calling on the democrat mayor of Kenosha to crack down on this violence.

The left says don't judge all illegals by the actions of a few.

The left says don't judge all Muslim by the actions of a few (million)

But the left is judging all cops based on the actions of a few, and those few have done far less harm than illegals and Muslims.

And don't give me this 'higher standards' crapola. If anyone tries that argument, then they're literally arguing that their pals are held to lower standards and expectations all while screaming and rioting about wanting equality.

 

Even a police officer has the right to self defense, even on the job.

 

My suggestion to the cops would be THIS:

1) Wear Helmets and Riot Gear and do Your Job.

2) If you can't handle the inherent dangers (that come with your occupation), then quit and find another line of work.

3) In any event, don't complain.

Problem solved.

PS--If the cops in Kenosha had better training (and didn't try to kill people in cold blood) this wouldn't be happening.

Unsubstantiated allegations. It's already known they tried to arrest him, but Jacob wasn't having any arresting, lol.

Sworn Law Enforcement Officers ARE held to a "Higher Standard". Period!

That isn't "crapola", that is a FACT.

And, in general terms, if people don't understand that concept (that police are held to "higher standards") then it is probably best that they don't discuss matters like this by engaging in whataboutism.

Obviously, the Cop needs to be charged with Attempted Murder (and prosecuted fully).

Police officers are still allowed the right to defend themselves, and if the police officer in the video above had shot a half dozen people who were threatening him, he'd probably have been right to do so.

The only fact you have to base your claim on - at this time - that the cop should be charged with murder was that he was white and the perp was black.

Maybe it is just me, but doesn't multiple shots (at point blank range, causing paralysis) seem excessive?

 

What were the cops supposed to do? Let the guy stab them?

 

There are two people standing side by side, they're both human beings. When it comes to how each of them treats fellow human beings you're saying the standards and expectations for one are higher/lower than the other?

How many people do you have low expectations and standards for?

How could he be charged with Murder if the victim is still alive?

I referred to the Perp as a "Killer Cop", because the Intent to Kill was very clear.

 

Attempted Murder is different than self defense. So you've already made the judgment the officer MUST be guilty. Despite none of us having all the facts.

Interesting strategy. Opposing excessive use of force with excessive use of force. They are against violence and will kill anyone who doesn't agree!

Since this video more information has come out. For example, the police were called because this guy was waving a knife around during a domestic violence situation. While on their way the police were informed by dispatch that the subject in question had multiple felony warrants, one of them for sexual assault. Police showed up to a guy with a knife and tazed him, which had no affect. He wouldn't drop the knife and said he had a gun in the car and said he was going to get it. He refused multiple commands to drop the knife and refused to stop. After he opened the car and reached in is when he was shot.

Once again, good shoot.

 

Those are all good points.

And, after all of the info comes out, maybe (it is possible) that the Cop could be vindicated.

That said, it seems like there are going a lot of conflicting narratives that are going to have to be weighed for veracity.

 

I think you should brace yourself for the likely outcome that he won't even be charged (And I say this ~1 hour after you called it "A clear case of attempted murder" and "a hard case for him to win")
