    Sounds like you applaud death. You surely don't accredit it to the right place.

    I suggest you have a closer look at those figures, especially the per million column.

    Wrong. As of right now ISA is 589 deaths per million population. Canada is at 242. From your own source.

    Unless you have some strange math that shows 589 is half of 242, your statement is not only wrong, it is the opposite of the truth.

    Soyou surmise that President Trump did not do precisely what you would of done so 180,000 deaths are his responsibility. Why stop there. It is a worldwide pandemic. Shouldn't he be responsible for all of those too? Oh, by the way.....what would YOU have done differently? Joe hasn't presented anything. In fact.....everything he says he'd do, Trump has already done. He's just late.

    The following WISE statements would have helped Trump;

    Closing Statement; “At the present time, the risk of a pandemic remains low”......PERIOD!

    Opening Statement; “According to our experts........”

    Bingo!

    However, Trump is a wannabe;

    Epidemiologist
    Medical expert
    Clinical Trial Specialist
    Virologist
    Physician
    Scientist

    In addition, Trump exhibited all the signs and symptoms of NPD.

    So, if all this blood is on Trump's hands, then certainly all damage from the lockdown is on dem hands and the damage from riots they supported and the lives lost when democratic governors put covid patients in nursing homes and a million other things that they support that cause real world suffering. Give me a break, he was acting as soon as he had the knowledge to make an educated decision. If you want to blame Trump, that's fine (kinda stupid but fine) but most of the severely hit areas were in democrat run states where their actions helped to spread the virus. Imagine how much pain and suffering and death would have resulted from Trump not downplaying the virus, I'll make up a "study" for you: 300k more deaths.

    So now being forewarned and forearmed in preparedness for a coming pandemic is somehow not the common sense and humane option? This "panic" garbage is an insult to the family members of the people who might have been spared their lives if precautions were taken had folks been made aware. Seriously, how do people keep falling for a pathological liar's lies and repeat them no less? :wall:

    Canada death rate is 6.87% vs the US at 2.99% I suggest you do the math. I did look at the wrong data on the per-capita column. My bad.

    All I'm saying is that if we are testing more rigorously, we should expect to see more cases. That's a good thing I believe. Cases by population can be deceiving also. You can have a population that is spread out and see less cases than the same population that is packed together. Government data is also suspect in some countries. I'm having a hard time believing that Japan and India have such low numbers and China's numbers are just silly. China has given exactly 160 million tests. Exactly.

    Nah not all 180k, I’m sure there would have been some. But if he took it seriously and didn’t act like it was a hoax, would Herman Cain be dead? Would 250k people have got it from sturgis?

    “On par with the other 1st world countries”? Hardly.

    In terms of deaths per million population, Belgium, Spain and Uk are a bit worse than America. Italy, Sweden and France a bit better. After that, every major industrialised country has done MUCH better than USA.

    I’ll say it again: in deaths per million population, USA is 11th worst in the world.

    Ok, explain why that now people are educated in everything Covid, why are young people still having parties and being stupid? Do you really believe that Trump is making those college kids throw parties? Do you think that Biden is preventing them from doing anything? Do you believe that they will listen to anyone?

    Well actually 20 - 30% of extreme cases will have chronic issues. There were what 382,000 hospitalizations? I don't think 'millions' is accurate unless there is some information you have that I don't.

    No. There are many industrialised (1st world) countries that are doing much better. Many. Germany. Switzerland. Australia. Austria. Japan. S Korea. Finland. Canada. I could go on, but there are far more industrialised countries that have done much better than America.

    To say that there are a few other countries that are doing as badly as America is not actually helping your case.

    Trump failed. Badly.

    I am not sure what it matters if his supporters think its as serious as you would like to propose. How would more panic help? What matters is taking action like the CDC under Trump did with the masks even though WHO said it won't help.

    Imagine if Trump listened to the World Health Organization instead of the CDC! We should redirect WHOs funds into the CDC and have more resources available next time.

    Sure.....but please do not try a Trump and tell the Planet how great a job he did. Show me one Leader anywhere who told his people (knowing it to be false) that this nasty was just merely a flu.

    I'm pretty much done with this argument for now. You will believe that orange man bad, and I certainly won't change your mind no matter what data is shown.

    I will say that Japan is interesting. They basically did nothing special to prevent the virus. No mandatory lock downs, etc. Perhaps they have a natural immunity or whatever. We know that African Americans are more susceptible. Some people get hit hard and some don't even notice (my daughter for one). Perhaps Trump could have done things different, perhaps that would have been worse for other reasons. We'll probably never know. This is an interesting read though.

    So according to you, because some people are downright stupid, irresponsible and inconsiderate of others, no one should be given the option or opportunity to make a possibly life altering health decision for themselves and their loved ones? What does Biden or anyone else have to do with Trumps decision to withhold critical information from the American people due to his self-serving agenda? Nothing, that's what!

    Whatever anyone might claim, no-one can wash off the absolute recorded (by Woodward) fact that Trump deliberately lied to and deceived Americans. Jayzuz, when it gets to the stage where POTUS dupes his own citizens at their peril, things are really crook in Tallarook.

    Trump, the president who was madly in-love with his baby economy reacted the same way as my wife best lady friend;

    We kept telling “Linda” that her boyfriend was a known con man, however, TOO LATE; She was madly in-love with him, thus, her responses; Deny, deny, deny, in one ear, and out the other.
