Obsessed with black people? I just see a parallel here that is often mentioned when police incidents happen with black folks. Obey the officer and you'll be fine. If this woman had done that, she'd be fine too. Arrested, but fine. And she could have easily avoided the arrest by complying in the first place.

There are two issues here, but you're conflating them into one. She was breaking the law. A police officer was enforcing it. Whether you agree with the law or not, it's the law and the one that the police have to follow.

When this woman resisted, the cop had to escalate. The cops always escalate, this is not new. They're not going to decide not to arrest you when you resist. This is separate from the first issue because this situation could have occurred with any law being broken by the woman had she resisted.

She was not tased because she was maskless. She was tasted for resisting arrest.

If only we had rules about blocking traffic and stuff. We could really solve some other issues too.

Because of the asinine drug prohibition, we've had a police state in this country for decades.

Because of the scamdemic, that has become even worse. A socially-distanced society is one that will gladly have neighbor snitching on neighbor. Fear rules US society today.

I feel like you're all over the place on this.

Honestly I really haven't found simple rules to be that challenging to follow, my state hasnt made things that difficult but I do sympathize strongly for those industries that have been singled out or that are in states that are stringent. There are definitely those groups that have been singled out somewhat arbitrarily. (That's sugar coating it to be honest)

Edit: side note on drug prohibition, I say yes start immediately with cannabis.

No, few if any on the right approve of someone being tased, handcuffed, and arrested for not wearing a mask outdoors. But you on the left make quite a sport of it, don't you? What is it about tyranny that the left finds so endearing?

the right says dispute that in court, don't resist or you deserve what you get

I do not agree with the war on drugs, does that mean resisting arrest is ok?

she was tased for resisting arrest, not for not wearing a mask

Not to mention she wasn't tazed for not wearing a mask, which that poster already knows.

Is that what GRU disinformation looks like? Repeating the same falsehoods over and over?

I agree, drug prohibition is what has created the huge increase in bad cops and funded gangs

    http://eazysmoke.com/marijuana-quotes.htm

"The prestige of government has undoubtedly been lowered considerably by the prohibition law. For nothing is more destructive of respect for the government and the law of the land than passing laws which cannot be enforced. It is an open secret that the dangerous increase of crime in this country is closely connected with this."

I stick with the truth. If you want to stick with a lie, that's your problem, not mine. Were it not for being maskless, she would never have been approached, tased, handcuffed, or arrested. It was being maskless that triggered it all, and being maskless did not warrant any of what happened to her.

No he advised her to put on her mask, she said she had asthma and he told her then she must wear a face shield she still refused and was told that refusing is a criminal trespass and she would be arrested if she refused to leave she refused......she had plenty of chances to correct the situation.

I agree, if she followed the rules and wore the mask, all this talk would be moot.

I heard she had a mask on her person, so refusing to put it on and resisting was just stupid on her part

she was putting families in danger at a school event, they asked her to put it on or leave, that was her choices

Being maskless does not warrant being accosted, tased, handcuffed, and arrested; being an illegal drug dealer does. Your inability to distinguish between the two says a lot about you.

"...Alecia Kitts was in the stands watching her son's football game in Logan, Ohio, on Wednesday when police say a school resource officer asked her to wear a mask. She refused, saying she had asthma. Logan police said Officer Chris Smith told her that if she didn't put her mask on, she would be asked to leave.

In a news conference yesterday, Gov. Mike DeWine said Kitts was told that if she had asthma, she could get a face shield and come back for the game.

"The female continually refused his request and Officer Smith advised her that if she refused to leave, she would be cited for trespassing and escorted off the property," the Logan Police Department said in a statement on Facebook.

"After several attempts to get her to leave, Officer Smith advised her she was under arrest for criminal trespassing and asked her to place her hands behind her back multiple times and she refused."

Video from the incident shows Kitts shouting, "Get off of me! You're not arresting me for nothing. I ain't doing nothing wrong! What the f--- is wrong with you, people?"

The video did not capture the initial confrontation.

Police say Smith tried to place her hand behind her back and Kitts resisted.

"Officer Smith advised her to comply or he would deploy his Taser if she did not quit resisting. She continued to resist, and Officer Smith placed his Taser on her shoulder area and drive stunned her once," police said."

I’m talking about the employees at school. During football games. They aren’t calling police either. Do you guys have to argue all the time.

What is the penalty for not wearing a mask in Ohio? Is it death, torture, tasing, stripes, lashes, imprisonment, fines, crucifixion? What exactly is the penalty? I don't think you will find the penalty, because there is no legislative action that requires one to wear a mask in Ohio.

So what we have in Ohio is nothing more than tyranny inflicted by a tyrannical governor, and his tyrannical henchmen. If I were to arrest anyone in Ohio, the first person I would arrest is the Governor of Ohio, and thus free the people from being forced to live under his tyranny.

A few days ago Trump was doing a rally in Ohio, and as he was mentioning all the Ohio dignitaries he spoke the name of republican governor Dewine, and much to his surprise, the Ohio crowd all started booing, and now we know why. They were booing the tyrannical nature of their own governor, and the pain and affliction he's imposing upon his citizenry.
