    My guess is they want to be on record having supported VP Biden because of all indications being that the left is going to assume total control of America. If/when that happens its entirely likely that some form of radicalist conversion occurs and when such things do occur one never wants to be on the record opposing those in power. I'm not saying we're going to see some great Progressive Purge reminiscent of every other time Communism has taken power but 'lists' will be made no doubt about that and its best not to be on the wrong side of such a ledger.

    Because lets face it people, the odds of President Trump remaining President Trump are not good - not to mention the poor odds of the GOP retaining control of the Senate. The right has its base and they're energized, sure enough, but Independents are not happy with Pres Trump and the GOP for their COVID response/attitude and they're looking at siding with the left. Plus even if that doesn't happen I think its clear by now that these elections can be stolen via the impending mail-in ballot disaster and subsequent 'sue till its blue' preparedness. So either way, a strategy that makes one appear to be an ally is just good insurance.

    The rats are deserting the sinking ship. Maybe they think they can curry favour, maybe they just want a return to sane leadership. Hard to argue with them is the latter is the case. Even billionaires have some thought for the state of the nation.

    The medical consensus on trump’s condition is that he suffers from malignant narcissism and enjoys cruel sadism.
    The fact that he’s intellectually lazy, immoral, corrupt and largely ignorant only compounds the danger for the rest of us.
    I only hope that there are enough principled conservatives and moral evangelicals left that are willing to admit that they were wrong and do the right thing this time around.

    Funny how the working people like the officers of law enforcement are for Trump and the billionaire CEOs from Facebook, Microsoft, & others are for Biden.
