I don't think that anyone will take anything for granted UNTIL Biden is (actually) sworn in.

Exactly 3 Months from now. As it is now October 20th (In the East).

WHEN Biden Wins, how can anybody rest easy if Trump is going scorched earth during the Lame Duck Period?

@Yulee so what are you talking about? Where did you get me talking about 2016 when I said distinctly ....."for the first time in history"? That means "currently speaking".

Except you of course, you have spent the last couple months just guaranteeing us he is the absolute winner, what has shaken your certainty? Memories of the last time you were so certain?

Who hijacked your account? I hardly recognize you. I know it's a personal question and you can tell me to bugger on off or what not but I must ask, are you voting Biden now? At least holding his water?

I already did vote Biden last Tuesday...... if you want my views they're pretty similar to Republican Ben Sasse

Are you sure you want to go down this road again, AJ?

I mean, far be it from me to stop you (it was so much fun last time, after all), but hey .. just thinking of ya :)

That was then, This is NOW...:salute:

Get back to me in 3 months and we will see who is sworn in...

    Until then? :bored:

Anyway, back to the actual OP topic, there is no way that Trump can spin those early voting numbers as "good news".

Of all people, I didn't think he'd be willing to repeat himself. I mean he could be right .. 2020 has been full of surprises, but still - he's got gumption!

I have no clue who'll win, and don't support either candidate (they're both awful).

All my support goes to the hysterical responses of arrogant oversized babies when their team doesn't win. I can't get enough of that stuff. It's still hilarious today, four years later. Literally never gets old. The upshot is I don't really care which side goes into meltdown afterwards, as long as they do. I'm already lining up my post-election YT compilation viewings

    You do have a point.

    "Entertaining" either way.

I am sure that many people liked the YT compilations from 4 years ago...

Here is my personal fave (from a bit earlier):

There are plenty of voters for Trump to win in the heartland.

    https://www.nationalreview.com/corn...tent=featured-content-trending&utm_term=first

While there may be some close races in Wisconsin and Minnesota, Trump will be at 280 without Pennsylvania's final tally.

Personally, I think he breaks 300 again, but I'll take an election night victory so I can watch more heads exploding.

And maybe 4 months or so ago, you were pro Trump, what is so great about Biden you went so far left, so suddenly? What great things do you expect of him? He is extremely anti gun, not very pro pot. So what caused you to flip to the dark side, free cookies?

NO Chance. NONE (of that actually happening).

Trump may be lucky to break 200 EV.

    Biden's absolute FLOOR is 279.

^And, even that kind of result would be a Miracle for Trump.

Ben Sasse is just another establishment RINO. Not even remotely Conservative. Sorry, but Republican registration is far outstripping Democrat.

So what do you expect a career do nothing to do about it? Say "I believe in science"? Specifically, what will he actually do different?

This is an interesting perspective on some of the early voting numbers:

I'd be interested in hearing real substantive arguments from our liberal posters about what they think he got wrong.
