SNIP We probably won’t know all the election results tonight because so many people this year are casting mail ballots, which can take longer to count. So when can we expect results? ENDSNIP https://fivethirtyeight.com/live-blog/2020-election-results-coverage/ Thought I'd open a thread if anybody hears anything interesting tonight... feel free to chime in... There's a nice guide in the OP link describing which states should have the bulk of all votes counted tonight. Interesting news.. due to poll opening delays, North Carolina results will start reporting at 8:15 instead of the expected 7:30... that's an interesting one.. I find it ridiculous that many states don't allow early votes to be counted until after polls CLOSE on election day.. What is the purpose of that?? Who are you watching? We'll be watching Kornacki and his big interactive board on MSNBC... he's pretty fun...
Tonight, win or lose, I’m hoping Trump will be a honourable man, meaning; Win or lose, NO negativities. Agree or disagree?
Agree that that's what he SHOULD do or what he WILL do?? I just don't think honorable is a go-to skill here...
This is the fake news media versus Donald Trump let’s hope Americans are smart enough to know the media is run by the DNC
I agree. I'd be curious to hear the reasoning. Maybe those are some of the states which allow people to change their votes...? This has a good chart of when different states begin counting votes https://ballotpedia.org/When_states_can_begin_processing_and_counting_absentee/mail-in_ballots,_2020 My state (Florida) began counting absentee ballots October 12th. Pennsylvania (another important swing state) didn't begin until 7:00AM this morning.
Well, you'll probably never hear me say this again, but I salute Florida... That's progressive thinking...
I heard that Florida might deliver early result and if we know who took it we will know better who could win overall. Here's how I heard it; If Trump takes Florida he's back in the race. But if Biden takes Florida he's basically on his way to the White House.
Whatever happens, we will be looking on from up here in Canadaland with hope for the best for all of you. Cheers Eh!
I know this is anecdotal, but the guy on MSNBC said to watch Pinellas County to take the first temp of Florida
As of right now, there are twice as many GOP votes cast in FL than at the end of polling last time, +200K.
I've been watching the coverage on NBC News (on YouTube). It's been reported that Trump said that he doesn't think it's fair that they count ballots after the polls close. I am pretty sure that has always been the case. It may even take longer since there has been more mail-in voting this time around.
Where are the Exit Polls? It’s 6PM CST, usually by this time exit polls are available? Or are they not in line with the “proper” trends?
Cincy suburbs in Ky.... likely better educated... Won't last... As long as the D's take the Senate, I really wouldn't mind McConnell winning and being relegated to minority leader.. Some poetic justice there...
This link seems to be a few seconds faster than the one you gave....... yours was certainly good though.... https://www.google.com/search?q=USA...&sourceid=chrome&ie=UTF-8&safe=active&ssui=on It is sure looking like Jim Rickards was correct about the flaws in the polling done by BigMedia....
Several Florida counties are in.. Trump up 10-15%, where he won them all in 2016 by 23%+.... Interesting... Pinellas country.... early vote/75%... Biden up 8.2%... Trump won by 2% last time...
