Blacks and hispanics are impacted more because of their behavior.

This is the same moronic 'racism' argument that contends that criminals laws are racist because blacks and hispanics break those law at a staggeringly higher rate than whites.

That's what I posted earlier. The priority is to prevent minority communities from being last in line. That's very different from giving them the vaccine first. Of course, that doesn't prevent Trump fans from crying about white males being oppressed -- even though they never wanted to take the vaccine against the Dem hoax in the first place.

Yes they flip flop on this all the time. It makes it hard to "Have a conversation about race" because anytime the conversation favors whites( lower crime rates, higher average IQs, better GPA even at a lower income level) then suddenly race doesn't exist, we are all the same inside, it's just a social construct. However anytime the conversation favors blacks, suddenly race exists, and everything that happens is because of race and everything that happens needs to be race conscious. It's gotten to a point where I wont even debate a leftist if they go with the no race angle. There is no point in debating people who wants to believe a lie over things that can be proved scientifically. They are about as bad as people who use religion to justify their scientific beliefs.

Please. Cite which laws prevent minorities from receiving this vaccine or ANY vaccine. A Hispanic family lives next to me and a black family lives across from me. Why wouldn’t they have the same access as I do? I also work with plenty of minorities. Nothing prevents them from getting the exact same medical treatment as my family does. Same insurance. Don’t even need insurance for the vaccine. So why would it be equitable?

My sister a doctor and her minority colleagues have received their first shots as well. Should her black colleagues get it first? Systemic racism must be at play.

The “code” is implying there is some sort of racism at work here killing off black people. So creating some “equitable” outcome will solve the “racism.”

 

The vaccine, when given tot he masses will be given in many locations, not just hospitals. They are talking about making sure that vaccines are proportioned equally between locations on affluent areas, as well as poor areas.This is about economic equality in distribution, and we know that in most places, economic and racially equality are pretty much the same thing

We already see that in play. We have seen hospitals giving the vaccine to their administrators BEFORE their front line workers.

 

Giving it to anyone except the highest at risk first is for scumbags.

Science describe reality, it doesn't tell us what to do with that reality.
If you want to use science to justificate racial discrimination, go on, but that has nothing to do with science.

Some other people use science to show, that some populations have lower IQ, other show that some population that are only 13 % of american population also commit half the murders.

And they might suggest that so it justificate their racism, but Science describe reality, not the relation we should have to that said reality.

People exposed each and every day, like doctors. nurses...
People whose demographics suggest higher susceptibility, older people
People whose demographics suggest greater morbidity, older people

Nice try, but I never complained about masks and took the pandemic seriously.

They could have tried to target some specific districts, or cities, but no they have decided to prioritize the access of the vaccine on racial standarts, they have made their choice.
