Look up the meaning of “beliefs”. They are simply a statement of acceptance. How is anything you think is true, legal or illegal. This is how the Nazis were. It’s a silly question. Your belief system is beyond control of ANYONE, especially the Govt.

Aren’t you asking if someone’s voting record or a sticker you have on your car should determine if a business, open to the public should be allowed to discriminate ? Liberals don’t even think that way. We may think people aren’t very smart following the Republican Party, but it’s your right to be uninformed.

Only groups like the Nazis practiced that behavior. They discriminated against people with different political, religious and ethnic beliefs.

Yes BELIEFS! And I'm asking if it is your belief that a business should be allowed to refuse service on the basis of political beliefs.

So you’re asking if people should be discriminated against for what they are thinking. Should you be denied service because you believe the poor should not have to fend for themselves ? Tell us one polical belief or thought that a liberal person has that is not with the majority of people in the US that would allow them to be discriminated Against ? Just one.

Now for example, you’re asking, not if you can discriminate against someone who is gay, but agasint some one who is not, but has a belief that everyone is free to practice their own sexuality in private. Those thoughts are all political beliefs. So, your voting record should now be a reason for discrimination. That’s a reduculius question and doesn’t deserve answering and never did. It’s what Nazis debate about.

Why specifically a "liberal person?" Why not a white supremacist? I assume that you don't consider those people to be "liberal."

I'm familiar with that, but what does it have to do with "just like they used to?"

I'm being sarcastic. How is it possible to be bigoted against atheists, if atheism isn't a religion?

How is it possible to be bigoted against short people:p (example)? Religion isn't the only reason to be bigoted against people. Hell, you could dislike soldiers who got caught.

And you'll get no argument from me that true Atheism isn't a religion. It requires as much Faith to categorically deny God's existence as it does to accept it, and Faith defines a religion, doesn't it?

Well I'm not sure that there is any reason to be bigoted against short people.

Maybe there is nothing wrong with "bigotry" after all. That is, if it is defined as this:

obstinate or unreasonable attachment to a belief, opinion, or faction; in particular, prejudice against a person or people on the basis of their membership of a particular group.

So long as this doesn't mean that we think that people should have less rights and do not have equal value based on that membership.

    Yep!

If you’re familiar with it, then you just answered your own question. It’s still applied now by religious fanatics, “just like they used to.”

Obviously the god of the gaps is your weakness. Religious types just refer to a god whenever they don’t understand the physical world around them now or in the past. That’s precious.
