Further to my above comments, the fact you read Jesus is the Son of God in the Bible is subject to many different interpretations, i.e.,: https://www.biblicalunitarian.com/v...o Jesus as,Both call him the Son of God. Amen.
religion is the same as walking into a field and identifying the different colors, like I said its a condition, identifying the elements of a condition does not 'create' anything, merely attaches labels to it. What do you mean by 'create'?
An excellent question. As a child I was forced to recite/sing the following weekly as brainwashing to believe in a concept that makes no sense. Praise God, from whom all blessings flow; Praise Him, all creatures here below; Praise Him above, ye heav'nly host; Praise Father, Son and Holy Ghost. Amen. I never understand how God could prey to himself, sacrifice himself to himself, sit at the right hand of himself, and so forth.
I know that song ! and that horrible tune is now in my head thank you very much. You are correct in your deduction that the Trinity doctrine is not supported by scripture. " My God - My God - why have you forsaken me" These last words of Jesus are also present in Matt - who used all of Mark sans a few verses derogatory to Jesus and/or the disciples - as source document They are notably missing in the version of events written later - after the Church had evolved .. and as had the divinity of Jesus. So these words are not present in Luke or John.
Religion is created by man, believed by people Christianity, Scientology, musliminity, ect... all were written by man
Those are all reductionist labels, a group of labels of specific colors in the field, observations of preexisting conditions is not the creator of the conditions, nice try! the inherent functions of the mind can only be observed and catalogged, not 'created' by you or any man that I am aware of.
Men. I am one. I write things. No one believes me or white I write. I try. I try to sound calm and smile. Problem is I come across like Howie Mandel not Jesus. Oh well. Its all in the delivery I guess.
that's right, you're the one always pushing Atheism as a religion guess Athiesm always was and always will be
I remember singing that when in church with my parents. We called it "the doxology", but I think it is really a doxology, as there are many songs of praise.
Near death experiencer Dr. Kevin Zadai was even shown that when the Word - Logos created Covering Cherub Halel who became Satan..... He knew that Covering Cherub Halel would take the fruit of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil..... and eventually would lead a rebellion against heaven! https://www.near-death.com/science/articles/richard-eby-and-secomd-coming-of-christ.html#a03 (Near death experiencer Dr. Richard Eby) : On the other hand.... we Christians may be rather confused as to the genuine humanity of Rabbi Yeshua - Jesus???? John 5:30 "I can of mine own self do nothing: as I hear, I judge: and my judgment is just; because I seek not mine own will, but the will of the Father which hath sent me." Jhn 5:19 Then answered Jesus and said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, The Son can do nothing of himself, but what he seeth the Father do: for what things soever he doeth, these also doeth the Son likewise.
https://www.blueletterbible.org/kjv/luk/3/1/s_976001 Luke 3:38 Which was the son of Enos, which was the son of Seth, which was the son of Adam, which was the son of God." It seems that there must have been a population of people at that time who did not consider this basic idea blasphemous???
not pushing, pointing out. you dont stumble upon a tree say hey we are going to call this thing a tree then claim a tree as invented or created by man the day you put a label on it.
a religious book may be made from a tree, but it's story was created by man's imagination everyone is born an Atheist, only after being born can someone be convinced a myth is true, just like Santa
as ridiculous as that is that is what the atheists claim, however the only thing they can be is agnostic, unless you think that a baby can make the claim they lack belief in G/god therefore they are an atheist long before you explain what G/god is to them. If the definition of atheist is includes someone who is brain dead, ie no decision required then you could include someone without the capability of reason to be an atheist. The position is top shelf lunacy. Sure books are made about deities, just like religious books and websites are made with atheist manifestos nowdays. If you want to take the atheist definition back to the beginning then its fair game to do the same with the definition of religion which includes atheists. Atheism is a religion
they don't have to make the claim they don't believe in a God, they just have to not believe in a God everyone is born an Athiest
So there is really no way to prove any of this. Some people believe that Jesus WAS God wanting to experience human life. Others believe he was the son of God (God does not need sex to impregnate people because he's GOD) I think if people could focus on something more cut and dry, like the 10 Commandments for example, we'd all be much better off. The 10 Commandments are something people can easily unify. They can even modify for more modern times like "Thou shall not covet thy neighbor's wife, unless they are swingers and consent", and so on.' Although I'm religious, we do not need religion to be united. We can all unite on something less complicated, like the common human principles sited in the 10 Commandments.
Of course there is a way to prove what the ancients believed- at least some of it... you got off on a different page somewhere - but sometimes I am not as clear as I could be OK - but this does not address the question of my post - or contemplate why it matters - my point being that it doesn't - and shouldn't from a "Christian" perspective - if the Christian knows his Bible - the way I do. Sure - Don't kill, steal, shag thy neighbors wife - words to live by for sure - but the main present of Jesus to humanity - w/r to how one should live life .. The "Royal Law" according to brother James 2 - which is a good read and related to your comment - along with putting the kaibosh to "Sola Fide" - Salvation by faith alone. This rule / Law - was taught to Jesus by the Great Rabbi Hillel - "Prove it ..Prove it" ok - I will prove this beyond the shadow that crosses your bow during the spring equinox - when we celebrate Ishtar .. aka Easter - the festival of death and rebirth. The great Rabbi - 110 BC to 10 AD - lived at a time - such that he could have been a teacher of Jesus - as does not the Bible tell us that Jesus sat with the scribes ..? and what on earth was he doing up until the age of 30 if not learning .. When asked to sum up the Torah in one idea - tested by a non-believer saying something like do this and I will follow - The Rabbi responded . "Don't do to others what you hate " The rest is all commentary - now go and learn. In Matt 21:12 - Jesus says - "So in everything, do to others what you would have them do to you, for this sums up the Law and the Prophets" This is from the Sermon on the Mount - most famous of Jesus Sermons - He is summarizing - having given a number of examples of this Royal Law - what we know as the Golden Rule - Take log out of own eye - before picking speck out of Brothers.. Love neighbor as self .. Judge not - lest ye be judged .. Let ye who is without sin - cast the first rock Jesus then goes on to say .. Not all who call Lord Lord - will make it through the pearly gates .. ONLY - the one who does the will of The Father .. The most High .. Jah .. Rastafa So what matters it if I think Jesus is the Son .. or "the Most High" - The word is the word - and the only question is whether or not this word it is too legit to quit ! . I claim - that this word is indeed too legit to quit - and that it is "Hammer Time" -
Thesis and antithesis are literary techniques used to make a point during a debate or a lecture or discourse about a topic. The thesis is the theory or the definition of the point under discussion. Antithesis is the exact opposite of the point made in the thesis.Nov 23, 2020 ......................^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^............................... Besides what you said is semantically the same there is no substantive semantic difference
I think your confused a·the·ist /ˈāTHēəst/ noun noun: atheist; plural noun: atheists a person who disbelieves or lacks belief in the existence of God or gods.
Evidence points to the contrary: Jesus wasn't turned from man to god, but from god to man. He was just one of the many antique gods who died and came back to life. An agrarian god, certainly, but his cult has many Orphic elements too, and perhaps more Hindu influences (there's a good reason Islam sends Jesus to India - he's very much like an avatar of a Hindu god). Turning Jesus to man was probably a long and slow process. The decisive factors were undoubtedly the a) mass conversion of pagans who, not being initiated in the mysteries of the cult, couldn't understand the philosophical and theological subtleties not revealed in the written texts (Tertullian wrote that the gospels are milk for babies, not solid food) and b ) mistaking Jesus for the Jewish Messiah, who must be a man. One thing is certain: Christianity today is very different from its early versions.
Since you mentioned Hindu influences, remember that Islam also incorporated some Hindu practices in its rituals.
