Not sure what a "Q" is, so, I couldn't really vote on this. I thought "Q" was supposed to refer to someone whose sexual preferences were greatly at odds with his gender and his body's, uh, architecture....
I can't believe you're that oblivious, Pollycy. Where have you been? This poll refers to QAnon. Q is the supposedly founder/guru of this conspiracy cult.
I get the idea that Q is made up of a bunch of people who were saddened to learn that pizzagate was a lie.
I fell for Q. Several things happened at once that made me realize that Q wasn't real. 1: There was the claim that secret cures for cancer and stuff would be released. 2: Someone who I was following on YouTube to get updates on Q discovered it was by a joker who was also responsible for a similar time travel narrative many years ago.
Oh, and by the way. The Q stuff that was up at the time, that I liked was that the international banking cabal was being broken up.
I've always believed Q to be a letter of the alphabet, so was disappointed to see that it was not one of the options available in the poll.
Actually similar mrna treatments we use for covid vaccines are also used in cancer treatment studies to trick the bodies immune system to attack the cancer cells. So they happen to be right about that particular one, although on partially.
Ah, I have heard of QAnon, but I never went to that site. Just no real interest. We're on a headlong plunge into "woke" neo-socialism (or, 'socialism-lite') for the next four years, so there's no use in struggling too much like people tend to do at extremist sites. I'll just try to keep a level head for 'the long haul' and let the radical Left fall into the hole they dig for themselves... as radicals always seem to do....
No, not cancer treatments, it was a medical wand that passes over the body, scans it, and fixes it with a button press.
That was huge and perhaps one of the first of its kind. We were getting hit with that at our science site constantly.
The radical right too, Pollycy. Don't forget the radical right. All extremisms are bad, not only the left variety. This is one of the reasons why I'm a centrist. I dislike the Bernie Sanders and the AOC types... but I also don't like the David Duke and Proud Boys types.
The radical right elected a president. And you can hardly compare Sanders or AOC to trump. Trump has sought to incite violence and attacked the foundations of a democratic society at every turn. He also incited a violent coup attempt.
I know, I hate Trump and voted for Biden not because I love Biden but because he was running against Trump. But while not the same level of violence incitation and attacks on democracy, I think that Bernie Sanders as president would be disastrous for the country, too.
That is what really sucked a lot of people in. The hope that there are folks within the establishment actually trying to fix it is really a result of a lot of people who hate the govt would rather prefer to not hate the govt if it were somehow able to be reigned in. 'Q' identified this psychology and utilized it as a means to capture and redirect resistance to global authoritarian collectivism into a mystical farse, both discrediting well-known actual conspiracies (like the banking cabal you mentioned) with ridiculous tabloid type stuff like pizzagate, while at the same time building what can only be described as a cult following of loyal members who would engage in crime to totally discredit the entire anti-establishment movement when called upon to do so. I was never able to take 'Q' seriously because it was built around the notion that the establishment was going to fix itself and we had to not but sit and watch. It never ever works that way. Then when it started going into the mystical realm of 'we can fix it with prayer/energy/vibration', it was clearly an establishment control mechanism similar to most 501c3 churches.
Honestly, the only time I even hear of Qanon is when the leftist media mentions them and is relayed here to the forum. Otherwise I never hear of them. I've never even seen a post by a member of Qanon on my own. Not on twitter, Youtube, nothing.
