Uh, how soon do you think that will happen? With the flimsy "arguments" Anti-Choicers have presented I hardly think the right to bodily autonomy will go anywhere...
A decision that is the woman's decision alone....it certainly isn't YOUR decision... There is no "increased risk of suicide" after abortion....and even if there was that doesn't mean women should lose the right to their own bodies just "in case they might do something that makes them want to commit suicide" No, you will never have control of women
It depends. I think a human embryo becomes a fetus in the 10th week, that is not even halfway through, so hard to call it the end of the term. It is not a person until birth.
Yes, women who have given birth have committed suicide....people commit suicide for a great many reasons..
Okay what if women were entitled to one "freebie", and after that they had to seek special permission? How many abortions do you think women "need"??
I thought you said the decision was between a woman and her doctor?? Was that just pro-choice rhetoric?
Aren't you the one that said women can't help but breed? (maybe not your exact words, but that's basically what you have said)
You seem to keep ignoring adoption. Also, starting a family can still be an option in many cases, even if the parents feel they are not yet ready for it. Sometimes a grandparent will take most of the responsibility for the first few years. That's what grandparents are for. It seems to be kind of silly to say "I'm going to kill my baby now because I'd prefer to push off having the baby until five years later." Let somebody else take care of that baby for the first five years, then.
Tell you what, next time the issue of abortion comes before the Supreme Court, let's all agree to designate you the one that argues for the Pro-choice side.
So can a born baby, in some situations. But the longer they wait, the more strict & selective the criteria has to be for a mercy killing. It's not like magically we can kill the moment before birth because it looks like the hunchback of Notre Dame and then right afterwards we can't.
You are aware that right now the government has the right to tell a woman she doesn't need drugs during the later stages of pregnancy? If she takes those drugs, she could lose her child. (i.e. someone will take it away from her right after birth and she will not see it again until she goes through drug rehab)
Let's be completely honest. If she had control over her life, she probably wouldn't be having multiple unwanted pregnancies in the first place.
I think it becomes a fetus when most of the organ system is in place, and it takes on most of the shape of a baby human being. Embryos have a more primitive structure, fetuses are more like a little baby bird that hatches from an egg. It is generally referred to as a fetus at week 9. Maybe we should think up a different name to refer to fetuses at a later stage. Like "pre-viable pre-born baby" ?

FoxHastings said: ↑ Why do you make blanket statements about women as if they are drones, or cattle, or "things" that all think alike??? Don't you know any women? No, I never said that ...you are wrong as usual. But your imagination seems to run overtime when you have no good argument or facts.

FoxHastings said: ↑ No, a fetus can be killed after the time of viability if they have severe illness or are disfigured Undisputed: ""a fetus can be killed after the time of viability if they have severe illness or are disfigured""

As many as they determine they need..... some people need multiple surgeries...do you want to limit everyone to a certain number of surgeries to make you happy ???
Not if the woman doesn't want to go through 9 months of pregnancy and childbirth. Adoption has no place in a forum dedicated to abortion issues. They CHOICE is to abort or not...NOT what to do after the choice is made. NO, grandparents are NOT obligated to raise their grandchildren.
