You missed my point. I didn't want to get into an argument with you about whether Hispanic Cubans are white. That could be highly contentious and complicated.
I was referring to the US. I think you misunderstood what I was trying to say. The US, itself, is like two separate countries existing in parallel, in many ways.
More racism. Please consider that poverty is a real issue. The fact that we have a serious problem with equality in America is not an excuse. Do you think the wealthy have a problem with health care so serious that they choose to abort? Please get the HECK off your racism direction.
OK. We do have a serious problem with equality in this country. We've even grown a serious white supremacist movement dedicated to making that problem more serious. In fact, the Republican party has FULLY embraced this direction, even to the point of states introducing HUNDREDS of bill designed to disenfranchise voters they hate. We even have a Supreme Court that sees democracy as less important than allowing states to use state power to disenfranchise US citizens they hate.
What the actual cause of that inequality is, and what solutions might work, is the topic of a different discussion. Let's try to stay on topic, please.
I absolutely reject every single thing you have stated regarding this topic. You need to float back to reality.
You can see from statistics that we have a major element of race based inequality. We even have the FBI telling us that white supremacy has reached a serious threat level of domestic terrorism. But, stats also show that the decisions of individuals has to do with poverty, which includes all races.
Oh please A highly politicized FBI. Why are you trying to take this argument about abortion off-topic?
YOU are the one who went racist. And, you did so in multiple posts. If you stop going there, I won't see posts that I have to respond to. But, I will respond.
It's fair game, in response to arguments you try to use about abortion. (besides, isn't it true that the racists are more likely to side with abortion proponents? but that's another topic)
Well, it looks like this thread is winding to a close. Will we finally resolve the age-old abortion debate once and for all, before this thread gets to page 100 (and the moderators shut it down) ?
It's VERY relevant. It demonstrates why women should not be charged if they have an abortion if abortion was banned.
I'm not telling a woman what she does or doesn't need. @Ritter is! He said that women don't need to murder their child.
Well, the woman thinks she's in a high & mighty position to tell the fetus it doesn't need life. We're not talking about just any women here, we are talking about women who already pulled that with someone else.
Doesn't change the fact that you wouldn't be saying that the LAW is all that counts if the LAW made abortion illegal!
You believe it's "totalitarian insanity" to tell a woman she can't have an endless number of abortions? (Even if most of those are later-term ones?) How about she can have a bazillion abortions before 8 weeks, but after 8 or 10 weeks we start keeping track?
No, not ALL. Many are able to think for themselves and therefore discover that their unborn child has some value and shouldn't be killed. When did I say that they NEED a man's approval? So are we.
