As a fan of the WFT, I'm happy to see the Dallas Cowboys spend big on Dak Prescott. Cowboys are now paying MVP money to a slightly-better-than-average QB, premium RB money to a declining Ezekiel Elliott, and premium WR money to Amari Cooper with his alligator arms over the middle. The future is bright in Washington.

WFT has always been just a place holder, to allow time for due diligence and brand preparation. The team forecast that would take about a year before the new name would be announced.
When I read it the first time I thought jack had written WTF which is generally how I view how Washington DC works these days... Texas is in despair over how the Cowboys are performing these days. Has anyone suggested "swamp creatures" as a novel mascot for the washington team yet?
Can't go wrong with an animal, people have been doing it for centuries, but then nowadays who knows.....
2021 is almost on ... so far it has been a fashion show of the top players in attendance and Ann Wilson of Heart doing the Anthem ... (I'd still hit it ... ) ...
The question right now is who Frisco takes ... I have to lean on the popular fave Mac Jones ... I would take Justin Fields but I think he has been hurt by the Dwayne Haskins fiasco ... and what will Atlanta do? ... prime trade spot ... I know Pitts is a can't miss but the draft capital could be enormous ...
That isn't fair since with Dax and the full season two years ago, they had the Number one Offense in yardage and 6th in points in the NFL. LINK
Mel Kyper JR. gave the Seattle Seahawks an F in the draft where they picked two future hall of famers: Bobby Wagner and Russell Wilson

Back to the topic of your thread, how do you think the Skins did in the draft? Their first round pick surprised me, but over all I think they had a solid draft. The only move they've made that I didn't like was signing Fitzpatrick...
I like what they've done because they focused on basic roster quality rather than a quick fix or star player acquisition. In draft, FA and trades they aimed to improve the offensive line. Fitzpatrick is an interim solution -- they could have done worse. I confess that I'm among those rooting for Taylor Heinicke.
