By David Stockman, along with much perspective on the damage done by her father and the neocons to the true, old fashioned principles once held by the GOP Good Riddance, Liz Cheney - LewRockwell
The irony is that they did not get rid of her for any of the things Rockwell listed, it was those things that got her the place in leadership.
I agree. They want to make it look like it has nothing to do with her disapproval of Trump which just makes it look worse. I may not like it but I would have had an ounce of respect if they just told the truth about their blind loyalty to Trump.
She got into that position because of her last name. She was supposed to be a rainmaker and failed at fundraising, too.
I've never cared for her, just because she is so much like her corrupt father. I happen to agree with her thoughts on DJT, but as the article points out, that's no big deal. I am not aware of anything good she has done while in Congress, but maybe I missed it. IMO her father is a traitor to the US, and very much a puppet of AIPAC and Tel Aviv. Likely she is the same.
It does seem like the issue was the Trump thing and they are just trying to make that look less spineless. That's how it appears to me but I'm not a Trump supporter or R. I've never really looked into it but I've always been curious about why people think family members share the same political stance. I am not like either of my parents politically. I've never even talked politics with them. Maybe it's different in these big name families.
Liberals like her because she's creating division within the Republican Party. Because she thinks she's entitled to her position because of her daddy, she's arrogant and condescending, despite not being her father. Donors and anti-Trump Republicans even admit this. She's doing more harm than good. Ergo, she's gone.
Back to supporting our friends. Obama's cowardice in Syria in 2012 cost 500,000 lives. All he had to do was provide the opposition with the means to fight.
Do those "friends" include the Muslim Brotherhood in Egypt, Al Queda in Libya, and ISIS? Those were the groups Obama liked.
My reference was to the Syrian democratic opposition in 2011/2012. When Obama turned away from them he enabled the rise of the Islamic radicals.
By not supporting his big lie. Yes we know. She said this or you read her mind? Most politicians are. Who admitted this? You have a couple names?
Her father is a creep. She threw her sister under the bus to get elected. She has voted with Trump 97% of the time. And I don't think that what she's doing is based on principle or scruples. But what she is saying now about Trump and his minions is correct. Even a broken clock gives the right time twice a day. I have no admiration for her, though. Not politically or as a person.
I don't watch CNN. Evidently you do. Good. I have questions if you don't mind answering. You said... "Donors and anti-Trump Republicans even admit this" Can you link where CNN revealed those names? If Liz is creating division in the republican party and it isn't because she doesn't support Trump's big lie, then what is CNN saying the reason for the division is? Also, I am pretty sure CNN can't read Liz's mind either so how do they know "she thinks she is entitled to her position because of her daddy"? Did she claim that in an interview?
You seem to know more about CNN then I ever will. Are you unable or unwilling to answer my questions?
Anyone talking about “The Big Lie” is just regurgitating lefty propaganda. You all regurgitate the same phrases and fall into line so well.
