I really like the second one down, nicely framed between the cactus and the rocks. Do you paint as well or just photograph?
Do you have trees where you live?

It truly sounds like it might be time for Princess to go, just hope it would be with no suffering.

It's a refreshing break from the political trenches.

I like giving likes...it is like listening to someone talk and responding to let them know you read their comment.

Green is an interesting color to use when painting there are so many different shades..I like the second picture the best..it would be a challenge especially with the water.

I am in a no win situation. It's beautiful outside and this neighbor
has a new roommate. He looks shady. My neighbor is black and he has never
even attempted to be friendly with any of the Neighbors. He's been the neighbor
since the middle 90's.He is very set in his ways and also belligerent.
His 2 sons left him after his wife divorced/separated from him.
That was around 7 years ago.I twice had to go there and lecture him and his
wife { a Pet Denier } along with his other neighbor who has many pets.Like
4 dogs and as many cats. This was during an arctic blast. And Little Princess
was in her dog house { that was built by him } and musta been shivering
all night and then all day.
If I go there and ask straight up ... Where is Princess ... what will it accompolish.
If she was allowed to die in the garage over the weekend,it probably won't
be admitted to.They can't say she was taken to the vet to be put asleep.because Princess
was rather fine all Friday.I fed her and she walked off as usual.I think I saw her
come back a couple times for water. So a late afternoon Vet visit isn't likely.
I feed her the best dog food money can buy.I mix nice leftover cuts of meat with expensive
wet dog food and ultra premium Dry pellets.I have a bag full of receipts from
Feeders Supply. So I can easily prove.
Little Princess was definately on her last legs. But eack day is worth it.
She was not ever screeching in pain.Or refusing to eat.
I may get worked up and do something stupid if I get a b.s. reply
as to Little Princess.I won't sleep any better short of seeing her and
    knowing she's still around.

You did an honorable thing to feed her but she is their dog and ..... some people get weird when confronted about something they may have done wrong.

Would you say the same if it was someone's child being neglected instead of their dog?

The neighbor offered to let me have Princess a little over 2 years ago.I kinda said yes.
He then came back a few months later with his Dog Registry from the shelter
he got her.Like he was officially letting me have her.I explained that in order to
take her I need a place to house her.My backyard would be ok.Because my
house is cat proof and my cat is very skittish. It would take too long for them
to adjust. My neighbor knows I feed her because it's obvious. I was reluctant to
house her since she is not house broken. There is no way my neighbor { no matter how indifferent
to the needs of Princess he appears } does not know I feed her at least once a day.
In my garage.Which I keep open.I also let her in the house While I fix her custom
meals. But she occasionally poops in the house.
I just got back from the Good neighbor and had a nice talk about what
I should consider doing. They { Both very pet adoring } said they remember seeing
Princess on Saturday morning. While that garage was still open.It was closed
all Saturday and sunday. That good neighbor takes a morning run every day.

That is not exactly a fair representation.I would say that kinda question
would be best asked to a In her Prime Doris Day.
She would give the proper context, even if a lifelong Humane Society
advocate. That is a difficult question to answer w/o showing bias.

Why go through the trouble of adopting something that you don't want?

I had someone come measure my windows for curtains - eight windows.

    She says: "$4500"...

I'm choking, here. Is that normal?

That's the rub.I wanted to give her every day possible.
She was not suffering just old and wobbly. If she had lost
her appetite I would think it best to maybe have he put to rest.
I had to scramble around this morning and find those Polaroids
I took of her about 5 years ago.I want to hold on to her memory as
long as possible. The Photos help.I felt this way after Rush Limbaugh
left us.I am not good at loss. That is why I don't like talking about
sickness.Ask Miss Smartie.I musta told her that a few dozen times.
There is a chance that Princess is somewhere.Maybe in that House.

Paying that would be what I would consider unormal
