I am actually the anomaly in my workplace. Being an Independent in an office full of Conservatives gives some interesting views. There can be all levels of all positions within a political herd, but unfortunately, some refuse to acknowledge that.

I ma related to a very intelligent person, degreed and all that, but middling to right on politics. The lack of common sense is very noticeable, which it seems to be with those that have high level of education, but have never applied it in real life.

 

To look at the Trump administration and ask "what corruption" is like looking at an ocean and asking "what water"?

 

Does a civil war count?

 

Obama was telling people he was born in Kenya. He told his publicist for his first book he was born in Kenya and then gets the guy to lie that it was him that made a mistake. How do you make a mistake about where somebody was born?

The publicist did not go out on his own that Obama was born in Kenya Obama told him that because it was far cooler than being born in America. It would become a problem later.

Note that Barry also said he was "raised" in Indonesia and Hawaii. Note Indonesia first. Obama spent 4 years in Indonesia.

Obviously clear to anybody with a brain he was playing up Africa and Indonesia big time and the USA as little as possible.

 

When talking about the Trump legacy we hear nothing of peace deals(4 of them). But we hear how Obama who was the most powerful man on earth was some doe eyed little baby victim of mean Trump!

Somebody at least has to try and stand up to big tech, wall street and China. Trump tried but the bio weapon beat him.

 

Hillary did not start the birther movement. Barry himself did. He had in his bio for his first book that he was born in Kenya and raised in Indonesia.

So Trump FAILED to protect the US against a Chinese bioweapon ... the only President to fail like that. That guy as

And everyone in late January would have thought that an over reaction. At that time we were being told there was no human to human transmission.

The chain of command flows two ways and up wasn't happening a lot.

The problem with novel is it's novel, the learning curve is steep and the gains measured in dead bodies. By the time every one was starting to get on the same page with what we were dealing with, mid to late March, the course was pretty much set. You could do things to address the PPE shortage it would create but everything else was set in stone after the Chinese cover up in Nov 2019.

 

What does fail mean? You mean deliver vaccines before Christmas? 300 million tests done before leaving office? The Chinese travel restrictions that you libs never wanted?

Twice impeached president who never won the popular vote or achieved popular approval, whose presidency was marked by repeated acts of corruption, criminality, and constant dishonesty.

It has become the standard response, has it not. If you had read the OP, actually read it, you would see that not once did I say anything against conservatives. I only mentioned Congressional Republicans, many who I think are just as corrupt as the Trump. Especially in their refusal to hold the Trump accountable for its wrongdoing. Can’t argue the facts can you? Twice impeached president who never gained a plurality of support among the American people. A presidency marked by ignorance, dishonesty, corruption, and ineptitude.

 

And yet somehow the leader of South Korea figured it out and did all those things January, when we had our first COVID positive in basically the same day.

I do not buy into the fact that the government did not have more information than they were telling us. By February there were senators that were briefed on COVID making "unusual" stock decisions that benefited them greatly when the **** hit the fan. You had another one tell his donors that what was coming was more contagious than the 1917 flu. You had VA hospitals making long term decisions based on COVID being around a long time and being very dangerous while even the private medical community was being kept in the dark.

They knew how bad it was going to be way, way before we were told

I think Trump accomplished a lot of things. Kept us out of a wider war. 4 peace deals 3 between Israel and Arab countries. A democrat would have been treated as a saint had he done that.

Economic policies were successful.
Energy policies were incredible successful.

Immigration policies where people apply for asylum in their home country or the neighboring country rather than coming here. That actually saved lives!

Trump made some positive changes to the VA and the "right to try" made treatments available to dying people.

 

The OP does not address conservatives. If you had read it, rather than spout your by now predictable hatred towards me, you would know that.
