Now that the U.S. military has decided that "global warming" is America's biggest threat and racial Marxism (AKA "Critical Race Theory") is America's newest creed, the United States government has betrayed all who died in the name of preserving American freedoms. Why on earth did we sacrifice so many young men on the beaches of Europe to fight Nazism's dogma of racial supremacy only to be ruled by woke-whisperers who find America itself irredeemably racist? Why did we have to lose so many soldiers fighting the communists in Korea and Vietnam and throughout Central and South America only to discover that "progress" requires America to go full-tilt commie?

    https://www.americanthinker.com/articles/2021/07/nobody_ever_expects_authoritarian_imposition.html

Biden's secretary of defense says global warming is America's biggest threat, and says it's paramount that new recruits learn all about CRT as part of the military initiation process for new recruits. This military Wokemaster is more concerned with teaching Marxist CRT to our military personnel then he is with fighting against enemy foes that might or do possess a similar if not exact form of Marxism.

"Chesty" Puller, George Patton, Omar Bradley and such are long dead, the upper echelons of the military since is just so many politicians in uniform, to whom knowing whose back to stab and whose ass to kiss is far more important to advancing their careers than knowing how to lead a Brownie troop across a playground.

Does it scare anyone that the adults in the world like Pootin, Kim Jong-un, and Xi Jinping are watching our little children playing in the White House and Capitol and are not amused by their little bubble the kiddies live in? India still has slaves and Iran throws gays off of roofs..China is polluting up a storm.... and they watch our little circus play along like a predator watches it's prey...

Of course our US Military is correct. Ignoring the problem and pretending it doesn't exist won't make it go away. As we all see that approach the last POTUS took failed miserably with Covid.

I’d argue that the US military is the biggest threat to the globe.

I’m a vet, I did 2 deployments in Iraq. OIF 2, and in 06 which was the run up to the surge in Iraq.
By saying this, I’m not trying to imply that my opinion is more valid than yours, or that what you believe is wrong, and what I believe is right.
I have earned the right to say what I said, because of my experiences.
I’m going to avoid putting words in your mouth, but you might be under the impression that I’m slandering the character of service members, that’s not the case.
I said what I said, because of the history of our own government who wields the United States military to implement foreign policy goals that can’t be reached thru diplomatic means.
This has happened allot thru out the post World War/Cold War era. In our own life times we have witnessed the United States government lie our country into a war in Iraq, in which we are still dealing with the consequences of that decision today. Since then the US has been engaged in up to 7 other conflicts across the globe, with humanitarian consequences.
with all that, the US possess enough nuclear weapons to wipe out life on earth.

This is my opinion, and with all due respect I don’t really give a damn if you think I’m one of those, whatever that means.

We all have the right to voice our opinions regardless of military service. By the sentence you posted

I have earned the right to say what I said, because of my experiences.

you are in fact claiming your opinion is more valid than others.

And there are not enough nuclear weapons on Earth to "wipe out life on Earth".

A true veteran would know better.

You obviously tried to twist my my words, because I never said you didn’t have the right. So way to fail on that point.
You don’t seem to understand what nuclear weapons do. The blast although destructive isn’t the worst part, of a nuclear explosion. It’s what throwing into the atmosphere, and what comes back down which has the certain potential to wipe out humanity. Now multiply that by 6,185 times with yields up to 2200 kilotons being the smaller warhead yield, the US most certainly does have the ability to wipe out humanity.

So with your selective reading, mischaracterization of what parts of my post you did care to acknowledge, your rudimentary understanding of nuclear weapons, and your shrill way of calling me a liar, I still respect your right to your own opinion, even though that you’re a random person on a message board, and your opinion still means nothing to me, pretty sure I made that clear the first time.
Here’s to hoping you grasp something so simple the second time.

The US military has always been a huge source of pride for Republicans. But I guess their views being different than the average Republican has lost them their admiration and respect. So - are they still not as powerful as they were? Are they all candy asses now? Should we be fearful that the mighty US military is no longer mighty because they think differently than you?

They certainly are becoming candy asses now under the leadership of this current defense secretary. Even the physical exam test for new military recruits has been softened to have newbies do girly-like pushups from your elbows instead of doing them from a full arm's length.

But, consider going to the grocery store and finding the shelves empty. No bread, no milk and why? Because no rain. It is becoming inevitable.

well, i would say China is Americas biggest threat, but since China is causing more global warming than anyone else (if it even exists and if anyone is actually causing it...), then I guess they're right, just in a very roundabout sort of way.

...not that I think they will see it that way. I'm sure we'll end up fighting mostly people that still live in huts, travel with animals and have virtually no environmental footprint to speak of.

The US Military used to represent honor and integrity. The line in the sand beyond which any attempt to harm our people or country would be met with deadly force.

It was a source of pride for all Americans. Black, white, Hispanic, rich, poor, Republican or Democrat.

Now, the leadership positions in both our civilian and officer ranks are polluted with radical leftists who hate America, and have nothing but contempt for our people, our country, and our Constitution.

Our military is in the process of being redirected from an outward focus, to being an occupying force within our own borders - to be turned against the American people themselves.

That is where all this is headed - history repeating itself. No wonder they don't teach history anymore, huh??

What a bunch of crap. Hard to know where to start a refutation, since not a single charge came with a shred of supporting evidence, or even inference. While I don't believe the charge that our military, "is in the process of being redirected...to being an occupying force within our own borders..." the only recent example of an impulse in that direction came from the, "radical leftist," Donald J. Trump. Or am I expecting too much from your argument that it would keep any ideas consistent from one sentence, to the next? And what part of (American?) history would it be that we are heading toward repeating? Oh, wait, that's right, when we elected the secret socialist president, who turned the U.S.A. into a Communist state-- how could I have forgotten?

The only thing you do convincingly show, in your argument, is how little appreciation or respect you have for the sacrifices of those in our military to, so without justification, or even a pretext of one, slander its officers with your patently ridiculous allegations, that they, "hate America, and have nothing but contempt for our people, our country, and our Constitution." Which makes perfect sense, then, why they would risk their lives to defend it, and us.
    Absolute rubbish.

I wouldn't go quite that far. Too many vets out there for the military you describe to stand a chance against in the domestic conflict you describe. Our military is being weakened so another military can beat it. But either way, the answer is a renewed civil defense initiative. Whether we need to fight our military (which I don't see happening) or support it in a time of crisis (even if its just by us being self sufficient and freeing it up to fight), our situation is improved by being prepared. Get food and radios while they're still cheap. Stack up a supply of firewood along the back fence. See if you're neighbor is interested in going to the range with you. We can rely on our military. But that doesn't mean we should plan to rely on it.

Yes, I'm planning ahead... we're not too far from economic collapse - triggered by whatever. Natural disaster, false flag, another virus (false or real)...

Most of the people believe everything their government and media tells them, so whatever they use to trigger it doesn't even need to be real.

    Fear is the weapon.
