No, it was yours. """Robert said: ↑ When a woman is raped, nobody should support that crime in any fashion. I do not support the rapists. If women did not understand the way babies happen, time to teach them.""""
The topic is abortion NOT the crime of rape..... The topic is abortion due to a pregnancy caused by rape NOT the crime of rape... Is that clear enough? It is in ENGLISH.
Nope, the topic of this thread is not "abortion". That's where you have it wrong. The topic of this thread is "the Supreme Court and Abortion".
Yeah, maybe. But that's a separate issue. If you wanted to discuss it, why not post a link to another thread? Or do you think we can discuss all aspects of abortion (and the topics are endless) in a single thread?
No, wrong as usual....I bring up pregnancy caused by rape and how Anti-Choicers want women impregnated due to rape to be punished for being raped by being forced to gestate( see OP) BTW, I AM NOT THE TOPIC....don't you want to stay on topic???
From the OP UnitedVoice.com) – In 2020, the Senate confirmed Amy Coney Barrett to the Supreme Court, cementing the court’s conservative tilt. Pro-life advocates were ecstatic. They felt as though this might give them the opportunity they needed to get abortion back in front of the high court — and that’s exactly what’s happening. On Monday, May 17, the SCOTUS agreed to hear a case about abortion rights. The justices will decide whether Mississippi has a right to implement its ban on abortions after 15 weeks gestation. The law was blocked by a lower court on the grounds that the high court has already set a precedent preventing states from banning abortions if a fetus could not survive outside of the womb, which typically happens around 24 weeks."" .... and some posters pointed out how they make no exception for pregnancies due to rape and how heinous that is.... Ya know, you have gone off topic for years....and now you object to others allegedly going off topic.??? Why TF don't you comment on the topic?
Why not , you do.... Some even discuss gun control in the abortion forum... ...and science fiction movies and TV shgows
The problem is: IF Anti-Choicers make an exception for a rape victim they are HYPOCRITES. IF they don't make an exception , they appear to be cruel and inhumane..... ...and it's why they want to avoid the subject as Anti-Choicers did in the OP and in the law they're proposing...
When will the GOP stop knawing on its own foot - chasing its own tail - violating the founding principles by pressing for "unconstitutional Law" - regardless of who is on the SC .. illegitimacy of authority - as per the good Declaration .. Full Stop. Why need I explain these things - so many times - to so many on the red side - Blue its hopeless - but generally you folks at least generate a spark once in awhile.
In upholding Legislation - the SC is making law - they are the final gate - as we no longer have a reasonable process to object beyond that - even though we have a reasonable and constitutional objection .. which lies above the SC.
Sure somebody beat me to this, but which party likes executions and wars again? or saving people from starvation vs sink or swim capitalism Neither side values all human life. Republicans want to kill persons they don't like, and democrats want moms to be able to get rid of mindless clumps of tissue with unique DNA (human life, but not a person).
A newborn can be taken care of by anyone, but only the pregnant woman can care for her fetus. The newborn is part of a social yext and physically independent enough to interact with its.surroundings and to.start learning. It has rights.
Duh, THIS is what he said : Ritter said: ↑ A newborn can be taken care of by anyone, but only the pregnant woman can care for her fetus. The newborn is part of a social yext and physically independent enough to interact with its.surroundings and to.start learning. It has rights.""" NO where in that did he indicate in any way whether he wants the fetus to live or die ... If one have to make things up it means they have no argument.
What I, you or anyone else wants is irrelevant since all that matters in this context is what she wants. If she does not want motherhood, the right thing for her to do is to terminate the pregnancy. The thing I want is Individual Rights and as a proponent of that, I am pro-abortion. Why do you want to make women give birth against their will?
It deprnds on what fetus we are speaking of. Is she willingly pregnant with it or is she unwillingly pregnant? You make it sound as if those who are for the right to abort want a society where women are forced to abort.
