Is it more dangerous to mix politics and religion or politics and science? I think science. When a political agenda mixes with science, ''junk science'' is born. They start out with a premise and then apply "science" to prove it. Real science is free from bias, real science is neutral and an observer, not someone seeking certain results. Junk 'science' devotees display the hallmarks of a cult like mentality. Beliefs that are faith based. You will anger them if you challenge those beliefs (follow this thread and see)... Even bigger danger than mixing religion is "science" and politics that has an agenda. (As it always does) GloBull warming is a fine example. When the dire predictions failed to pan out, it had to be rebranded to "climate change"....(pretty handy the new label can be applied to every event, huh?) The entire agenda there is to justify the non stop growth of big government into more and ever more, aspects of your everday life.....After all, the planet is at stake! OMG!!!! Hair on fire! So while we get low flush toilets, India continues using the ocean as a landfill. "Transgender" is another one. Agenda driven pseudo ''science' is responsible for the foolish notion that "gender is a spectrum" . It's pretty simple, women have things like a vag, a womb, give birth...that sort of thing. Even a child knows the obvious (flashback to the famous scene in kindergarten cop) 9 out of ten scientist tend to agree with those funding them. Beware, they live! Poll is public
Oh my. Is someone being less than honest? This individual also told us that he's "Conservative" recently.
1. She. 2. Yeah because it's hilarious to make of conservatives for their hold onto identity politics. 3. Somehow not knowing one of the most important ways science is publicized in the US, doesn't surprise me.
Is your classwork suffering? Thought you had to go to class 20 minutes ago, like 40 minutes ago? So you are not "a person who is training to be a scientist"
The professor was talking to the master's students so I had free time. Ta ta now that class is starting.
