From the mouth of your own lying president. https://www.rev.com/blog/transcripts/democratic-debate-transcript-houston-september-12-2019
There is a big difference between showing a video and investigating how suddenly thousands of people got from Haiti to Mexico. I say it's typical of our lazy media. Lazy and biased.
What is there to investigate? They are people from other countries seeking to enter our country illegally. This isn’t anything new. What more is there to know?
Okay, you've apparently realized that your "It's just a random cycle of immigration" argument is a ridiculous non-starter, and so you've switched to "You can't blame Joe Biden, all he did was roll out the red carpet and ring the dinner bell. It's the immigrants faults for showing up and demanding to be fed." smh
No one has yet answered the OPs question. How did they get from Haiti to Mexico, and who funded that travel? I think, from a journalistic point of view, it's a basic question that is foundational to the story. So why isn't it included in the reporting?
From the LA Times.... https://www.latimes.com/world-natio...end-for-haitians-and-other-u-s-bound-migrants Tapachula has long been a way station for Central Americans traveling north. What’s different now is that large numbers of the migrants stuck here — perhaps as many as half — are from Haiti. Their presence here is so ubiquitous that the city can seem like a slice of the Caribbean. Haitians line up at banks, aid agencies and cellphone shops. They hang out in the central plaza. Street markets, cafes and hair salons have sprung up to serve them. Haitian music blares from storefronts. The Haitians here are not fleeing in the aftermath of last month’s earthquake or the July assassination of the country’s president. Rather they are among the 250,000 Haitians who left their homeland after the devastating 2010 earthquake there and settled in Chile or Brazil. Both those countries have suffered steep economic declines during the pandemic, sparking the current exodus.
And I'm sure you're completely consistent about spreading the blame around fairly when it comes to Republicans and immigration.
"They" keep asking the same question and ignore the answer that has been given to them many times in their attempt to say that Biden funded them
Yes. Illegal immigration is a problem both parties ignored for most of my lifetime and still ignore the main reason they come, because people are willing to pay them once they get here. And yes, I think it is wrong of the government to tell parties they cannot help the immigrants if they feel led by their religion to do so.
I personally think that the fact they are coming from Chile or Brazil where they have lived for 5 to 10 years removes their claims of being political refugees needing asylum in the US.
The left wing media likes the idea of importing future democrat voters. Why do you think they would criticize it?
I do not watch any TV news, but every major news site is covering this on their websites. I am not sure why you all think it is otherwise.
You guys blame Biden's Admin for every bad thing that happens in the world. All this does is make your criticism meaningless. The Biden Admin did not make things go to **** in Brazil and Chile which was the catalyst for these people to leave those countries after being there for a decade.
"You" are attacking a straw man of your own construction. No one, to my recollection, has claimed that Biden has funded them.
They view a one party system as pro American as long as it is their party. They don't think like you.
