The churches that have fallen into heresy tell people what they want to hear and believe, and that's why they're dying. The Holy Spirit is not in them.
Every church tells their congregation what they want to believe and hear. If they didn't, their pews of people and donations would disappear.
What has happened is the opposite. The more liberal churches became, the more they died. I'm Orthodox, and when monks came and began establishing monasteries, the Church was highly against them since they were taking money away from the parishes. It didn't matter though, people prefer the austerity and faith of the monastics for their spiritual needs such as prayers and confession.

Putin will be out of power one day and Russia just might become free and democratic. Donald Trump is old and likely to be indicted in connection with Trump Org, so he won't be much of a concern for much longer. Covid-19 will eventually peter out as people either get fully vaccinated, develop natural immunity or die horribly. On a happier note, James Webb is going to launch this December! It's going to revolutionize astronomy. And people will be building a base on the moon before long! Big things are happening outside of the drear, depressing little world of politics and fake news, and people are going to get tired of being angry and tired eventually. As happens on an individual level, societies go through ups and downs.

Women on the right support the Christian moral traditional wholesome roles of women as wives, homemakers and mothers. When women occupied those important family roles and mostly men were in the work force... one man's average wages could afford a homemaker wife and mother of his several children, a nice home, car and summer family vacations. Today in this current antichrist leftist cultural marxist degenerate society/economy... both the husband and wife must work to even try to keep their heads above water. And even with both of them working, they are in debt and can't afford to have children or the American dream of a nice house, car and summer vacations. .

I KNOW what I posted to be true because I was born and raised in such an American family as were my relatives, friends and neighbors... whose fathers [only their father's worked] were average workers... farmers, carpenters, brick-layers, steel workers, electricians, repairmen and other blue collar laborers.

Miracles are inexplicable according to our physical laws, but not to those who accept a reality beyond physics. I'll give you an example which you can take as you may. A man asked Father Demetrios of St. Isadore Church on Lycavitos mountain to go to the Alexandra hospital in Athens because his child was dying. The priest grabbed a Cross and went. The girl had tubes all over her body and the room was packed with doctors, nurses and women from a local children's charity. The priest placed the Cross on the girl and began to pray. While doing so he heard a flutter and a voice say, "tell them in a week she will walk out of the hospital." The priest couldn't say it, but the voice insisted, so finally he did. The nurse looked at him and said, "but Father the child is dying." The girl's mother walked over and said it's okay Father, but here let me pay you for your time and effort. He said if I take money, then she will not get well. When he went back he began praying and asked God not to do this, and to take his life instead of the child. Right then the telephone rang and he was told that the girl was starting to recover. In a week she walked out of the hospital. I don't know what she had, but I assume it was some sort of Cancer. This was his first documented miracle, but many have happened since then. Needless to say the doctors and head of the hospital are now benefactors of the Church. The clergy will not accept a penny and all have outside jobs. There is even one case where a paralyzed girl from Patra was told to get up and walk and she did. Anyway there's a long story behind the priest and the Cross that he held in his hand that I can't really get into - but as I said they are all documented. As for the girl, he said she is so brilliant that universities in Europe are bidding for her. My opinion! It seems that whenever the Church is ready to collapse, God will intervene. He did so in the Catholic Church with Saint Francis and the Saints that came after him, and it looks like he's doing so now in Greece.
