This resembles my car. I also own a Cadillac. This will be your introduction to a 6 speed Transmission Super Charged engine with 658 hp that anybody can drive. I am probably past the age of owning this car. Are you willing to own one of these? What is the fastest car you drove so far? This will exceed 200 mph. It is alleged to be the last of these kind of cars. Better hurry if you want a lot of fun. Wait until you see the huge screen showing you your performance parameters. This has the largest brakes ever put on a Cadillac.
Yeah, sure. I remember in the 1960s or 70s when the last Cadillac Convertible was supposed to be produced and car owners rushed to buy one. It was a lie then and it's a lie now.
Should cars be judged by the factory workers and not the engineering? Let me explain. I worked at the Fremont, CA GM factory long ago, in 1964. I learned how they operate. Men put cars together. Men who come in after drinking, after having domestic disputes, after having sex with neighbors wife and are expected to do a good days work. Short of firing all of them, GM can only design and then assemble parts that end up being the car. Even then, GM was a fanatic about quality control so I do not believe they changed that. They would totally unbuild a car over human errors. So to claim GM builds crap is to tell us the workers are crap. As I said, they are humans working a days work.
~ A most bizarre reply . "Employees" do as told. They are paid for a specific job. GM engineering is crap. The assembly quality is moderate at best. The parts, fit & finish are substandard. The employees ( workers ) , shareholders and customers have nothing to do with it. The management is responsible . You may want to consider staying off the booze ...
658 horsepower and a six speed manual transmission?! And for only a mere one hundred grand. Well at least I can appreciate its sound when it blows by on the roadway or taking off from a light beside me.
