It’s actually funny to me that dems are trying to spin this as a win for them. Texas is growing because of its good policy and thriving despite dem hate if it. Meanwhile dem strongholds are shrinking because of thier policy.

I like how you try to spin this. Lol. Head deep in the sand.

Why would you suspect that the average cost in the bay area is $3.3 million?

You have been saying this for years. You kind of shut up with this nonsense after Trump won, but I see we're back to delusions.

Yeah, it's so bad that Elon is moving his company to Texas.

How you try to spin this as a positive for democrats is astounding.

You really think that people make such life changing decisions, like moving to a different state, because of abortion? If they do, they are complete idiots. If they are not idiots, why wouldn't they just take birth control and not worry about the law?

You want to believe this so you can push partisan division in the opposing party.

Your perspectives and opinions are 100% partisan driven.

There is no shortage of well-educated Americans who would be eager to relocate to Austin because of its enlightened governance.

The Political Climate in Austin, TX is Strongly liberal.

Travis County, TX is Very liberal. In Travis County, TX 71.4% of the people voted Democratic in the last presidential election, 26.4% voted for the Republican Party, and the remaining 2.2% voted Independent.

One of the first things I thought about this thread as well. Yet another business leaves California because of democrat policies and they're trying to spin it as a positive.

I wouldn’t be so sure of that. Right leaning people have been exiting California by the thousands. This is further proof that liberal policies have made innovative business near impossible, even highly successful ones like Tesla. I wouldn’t be surprised if spaceX isn’t shortly behind them.

Texas, according to the last census is gaining representatives while California is losing them. This isn’t due to small migrations from California, this is the result of large migration from it. It is their choice to vote how they see fit in their new home state. I however highly doubt that they will be voting extreme left. Center maybe, maybe right, but not left. They’re moving away from those policies for a reason. I believe this will further cement the state as red rather than blue.

It is rare to see Democrats admit they share the same ideology as locusts. Texas really needs more of what is causing businesses to flee California!

Musk's reasons for moving Tesla's HQ to Texas have nothing to do with California policies, though.

Actually, I was saying no such thing that long ago. I was more right-leaning and anti-Obama back then. Trump quickly cured me of that.

There is something to be said about the quality and over use of leftist hyperbolic drama! Although the thought of people moving because ladies can't flush a child begs curiosity! I mean is this something ladies have done like regular yearly things like mammogram or Pap test?

I shudder to think they are that concern with something "ONE WOULD THINK" done once, maybe twice in a lifetime :wierdface:

Correction, doomed the country. Because the net result of the entire spectrum of reasons for why Democrat voter numbers are increasing and Republican voter numbers decreasing is a weak, poor, unsafe, desolate America. Democrats 'won', bravo, they inundated the country with tens of millions of 3rd world replacements who in turned bred tens of millions more, they took control of education and entertainment to indoctrinate the mindless masses, they took control of communications to suppress the dissent, they did everything a modern age conquering army would have to do to take over a country without combat.

But what has been constructed is not sustainable. The progressive brood will always be a permanent underclass because the system you support not allow it's progeniture to become greater than the dependency they are herded into per design. The ambition, culture, identity, and general quality of that which made America what it is, which brought humanity to the point it's at, is being demonized, replaced, and bred away.

California is a hellhole. Travel outside of the resort hubs and out of the few remaining white areas and you will find yourself in a failed sociology experiment filled with the most discontented, uneducated, filthy, lazy rabble imaginable.

Ha! The blood thirsty left has more in common with the blood thirsty Taliban, they’re both…ahem…blood thirsty. Women’s blood, Christian blood, baby blood, it’s all the same to them. But keep on murdering your voters, it only helps my side.

Got that right! I live around Austin and for the past decade or two we have been inundated with bad driving, can't dance, small belt buckled, obnoxious Californees.

The business regulatory environment and ridiculous lawsuits in California are not good.

If you read the latest news, a former black employee at a Tesla manufacturing plant got awarded $137 million for suffering "racial abuse".
Apparently it was a "hostile work environment" and a few other workers there used the N-word.

The jury of course was in San Francisco.

If I was the owner of the Tesla company, I'd be in a hurry to get out of there.

The only negative I see is they are moving from California to Texas is the Texas is anti-labor being a right-to-work state (right-to-starve) however if Biden keeps his promise to try and abolish right-to-work laws in the US, this would be a win-win for all parties involved except for the anti-labor companies.
