It Can Happen Here: Expert On Tyranny Warns Of GOP Extremism

The guest being interviewed by Ari Melber compares the Big Lie and what Republicans are attempting at the state level with regard to implementing partisan control over the election with what goes on in Russia. He describes what the Russians term an "administrative resource," defining this as officials who determine how an election there will turn out. He goes on to explain that the claims by these Republicans that the Democrats cheated legitimizes their cheating. "In other words, if you talk about the Big Lie now, you're basically promising to cheat the next time around, and that's very concerning."

He is explaining here the mortal peril to our democracy posed by these RINOs who claim there was cheating in the last election. They are using that lie to justify a power grab that will allow them to cheat in future elections and the deceived Republican voters will accept it since they believe that Democrats cheated.

 

".....what goes on in RUSSIA". Oh dear GOD, if it ain't Trump, Trump, Trump, it's Russia, Russia, Russia! As soon as it gets light out think I'll go beat the shrubbery and see if I can roust some Rooskis.

 

You want to see tyranny look no further than Joe's mandates and the way he's going to have the IRS meddling in your bank account for anything over 600 measly dollars.

I swear some of you people, it's as though you stand on your head and declare the entire world is upside down.

It requires a degree of willful ignorance to ignore just those two things so named above that is absolutely astounding, breathtaking in its scope.

Mr. Snyder listed specific ways tRumpublicans, in red States, are passing laws that take away voters rights and give themselves the privilege to decide who wins an election.

How are Democrats doing that?

 

What Snyder has to say is purely opinion, nothing else. His “expertise” is not expertise at all, it’s just the same old Democrat BS.

Already we have the 'alt-right,' and we have that awful Conway woman who came right out and spoke of 'alternative facts.' Even if the alt-right isn't named for alt-facts, it is based on them, and those alt-facts are generally not genuine facts. Already nothing is true and all is spectacle. The alt-right is so far gone that they believe in a vast conspiracy that never happened. It is akin to how Germany's right wing came to believe that Jews stole their WWI victory from them, and it follows other already-established elements in common with Nazism, specifically the scapegoating and vilification of certain groups and the war on journalism. "Fake news" is practically a translation of Lügenpresse, or 'lying press.' Trump was also impossible to criticize since he constantly created and shaped his own alternate reality and had a lot of help in doing this from 'alternative media' as well as Fox News in particular, in addition to enablers in Congress who would, at minimum, fail to denounce Trump's lies and fail to acknowledge basic facts.

Dude I have. Unlike the average Democrat voter I made my choice based on the reality that exists rather than the delusion planted in my head by the alphabet soup media.

 

Of course it's opinion, but educated opinion backed by years of observing international politics. And he's not alone, many people are, independently, drawing the same conclusion. I was posting and talking with friends about this months ago, long before I ever heard of Tim Snyder. It really is that obvious, and it should worry EVERY American.

 

What worries me is leftist totalitarian instincts. Everything the Dem party does is designed to diminish individual liberty, and give government more power
