Rep. Gosar is censured over an anime video showing him killing AOC

Interesting video although I couldn't find the offensive part. I'm betting most of those calling for his head have not watched this vid.

 

Found this comment:

"For those who are out of the loop, this video is a parody of the first intro to the anime adaptation of the manga series, "Attack on Titan". The song is titled, "Guren no Yumiya". I would definitely check out the anime itself. It is very based, just like this meme."

Reminds me of when Palin got in trouble for having a map with targets on political districts.

 

Well, yeah, Glitch... hell, over the years we've seen radical Islam, for instance, proudly putting videos on the internet showing them cutting real people's heads off during solemn ceremonies, burning real people alive in cages, throwing real people off the tops of buildings, and on and on -- so it's not like we're all a bunch of naïve, innocent 'children' out here anymore or something!

If it was so damned bad that an elected member of the House of Representatives was thrown out of his EARNED place in that body, then all citizens of this country, including his constituents deserve to be able to see what kind of HORROR caused all this reaction!

What does freedom of expression mean to you?? Doe it mean you can say and do and write ANYTHING you want.......no matter how crass, hurtful, tactless or destructive??? What happened t o civility?? Are there no boundaries anymore?? Do we not expect a certain STANDARD of conduct from people in leadership positions??

Every freedom comes with responsibility and good judgement..........something we are seeing a lack of these days.

The issue of bad taste and conduct is a human problem...........not a "leftie or rightie.

It goes to a nations' value system...............and it is obvious that VIOLENCE has a big place in "american values. " Videos that imply a threat is just part of this culture......... Threats are now common place.

Agreed. So when folks like Maxine, Omar, et al essentially said similar things both in public or on the floor, it should have been used against them as well. It's sad though that democrats never seem to see their own flaming for what it is. It creates the impetus for folks, like Gosar to believe that it was acceptable. From the democratic party leadership's actions, one can now clearly see that what was ok for them must be persecuted in others.

Geez, wish I could remember who that was? Started with a T, but I can't quite recall. All I remember is that he was host of a fake reality tv show, basically was an actor who fooled people into believing the show was real, and threw anyone under the bus to save their own butt on a regular basis.
Anyone remember who that was?
