Right the 10th Amendment exists end it forbids the federal government from doing that.

Have you ever wondered why there has never been a national vaccine mandate in the history of our country?

You can't point to constitutional Amendment that says a woman has the right to have an abortion at any time she wants.

And so you are mistaken and believing that Texas is violating the constitution in fact I'm willing to bet the Supreme Court overturns roe v Wade in the next couple of years.

both are unconstitutional and most agree with that except those that support a nanny government controlling our bodies

No. Federal vaccine mandates violate the 10th Amendment. Allowing doctors to be sued for avoiding a baby after this detectable heartbeat is not something that's protected by Constitution.

The Texas law has nothing to do with bodies. It has to do with civil liability.

allowing people to sue a doctor for something they were not even involved in is wrong on so many levels - they have no standing in the case

nope, it's unconstitutional, everyone has a right to abortion

the flip side of that is the government does not have the right to keep you from having children

if they can do one, they can do the other, mandatory surgery to prevent pregnancy

well not constitutionally further this law doesn't interfere with anyone having an abortion. So even if there was a constitutional amendment granting someone the right to abortion this wouldn't violate it.

    So you were misinformed right?

the one suing has no standing, we can create many new laws to get rid of stuff we don't like, anyone can sue gun makers if a gun they made is used in a murder as an example - would not be unconstitutional to have anyone sue gun makers, as it doesn't affect gun owners

is that what you want? seems the right is trying to take this down a slippery slope

There isn't a constitutional amendment enshrining abortion as a right. If there is point it out.

we have a right to control our own bodies

but also you do not have a right to sue without standing, that is the new twist to the TX law and could be used against gun manufactures too, there is no right to manufacture guns in the constitution, otherwise 3d printing guns could not be banned

actually legally speaking no we don't. States and even municipalities are allowed to mandate vaccines.

In fact the state of Texas tried to mandate a vaccine a couple years back under Rick Perry.

There is no constitutional right to abortion. If so present it.

the supreme court has interpreted abortion that way

now the religious right may change that someday, just like once slavery was supported due to the bible supporting it, and people thinking they had a God given right to own slaves, but eventually they will lose power

The law in Texas is just a limit. All rights have limits. You can only nuclear weapons you can't call fire in a crowded theater when there is no fire

The court never said you have the right to abortion at any point during pregnancy and the states have no ability whatsoever to limit it in the least.

Again the Texas law isn't seeing you can't have an abortion it isn't even saying you can't have an abortion in the third trimester it's just that the doctor performing can be held civilly liable.

Show me anywhere in the Constitution or in any Court decision where abortionists are protected from any civil liability.

we will see, republican Control the SC, so you could be right, and it becomes legal to force rape victims to have their rapists babies soon

your logic is like saying anyone without standing being allowed to sue gun makers for what happens with their guns, doesn't affect gun owners

careful going down that slippery slope

No, I still rather prefer the old fashioned way

I was trying to point out that "my body my choice " is not a valid comparison for vaccines vs pregnancies.

sure it is, no one should be forced to have their rapists baby, it's risky to give birth and that should be a choice
