A mass COVID grave in Peru has left families bereft — and fighting for reburial https://www.npr.org/sections/goatsa...eft-families-bereft-and-fighting-for-reburial Losing a loved one under "normal" circumstances is hard enough. Add in COVID and the inability to be with dying loved in their final days is harrowing. Now, beyond that much grief and trauma, these families are struggling to locate their loved ones' remains and give them proper burials. I understand the magnitude of the pandemic has left many countries struggling but this is simply unconsciousable. Nobody, and I mean NOBODY, should have to just accept they will never know where their late loved ones' remains are or fight to obtain them once they are located. What do you think?
I think you're a hopeless romantic, but I enjoy reading your posts. Humans have died anonymous deaths ever since the beginning. Of course this is a sad story, but life is full of sad stories.
