    Just for a laugh.
Absence of proof is not proof of innocence. You guys have been pulling that repeatedly over the last four years.

Some of his “charm”/magic/hold is simply the “Carnival Barkers Dazzle” for want of a better phrase - tell people in a loud arrogant voice that “this is the best they have ever seen” and no matter how much rubbish and dung there is lying around a proportion of the people will only see the dazzle not the reality. Trump is if nothing else a Carnival Barker and a grifter

No absence of proof over four years suggests no proof exists

    This is simply “Birtherism 2.0”

I can see that. I don't like him even a little bit but I can see why others are taken in. I have absolutely NO question about the "dazzle" effect.

I get stuck on the part when nothing else pretty comes from him. I'm not inclined to commit crimes, but if I beat the hell out of cops and breached a Federal building and the guy that suckered me into doing it went MIA...I'd be inclined to commit a crime.

He put a target on Pence's back.
He stiffed Giuliani (the man needs $, he has to afford going somewhere for a real dye job ;-)
Pretends he doesn't even know Powell.
    And on and on.

It's not the "attraction", it's about how do they hold their noses when the $h!tshow starts stinking?

    Agreed

Worse is the blatant revelling in illegal and often outright fraudulent schemes being undertaken by the rest of the GOP

You know Clinton's campaign was the creator of birtherism, right?

Meh! It was discussed by some undersecretary’s undersecretary but never put into action. Trump thought was quite involved up until Obama pulled the rug out from under his feet with the long form certificate - one of the reasons Trump LOATHES Obama

Can't find a single reason why this should be remotely taken seriosly? You let us know when Americans can no longer make up their own minds as to what is and what's not a scheme, least we aren't beaten in to submission!

His percentage of Hispanic voters went up because it had no where else to go so all that proves is that P.T. Barnum was right. As far as racial hatred....just because Hispanics voted for him doesn't mean he likes them. "Look at my black guy!!" Remember that!!! Trump doesn't give a crap about anyone or anything other than himself.

Not at all why :) It all started at a White House Correspondents’ Dinner, whereas Mr. Obatard made fun of Trump telling him that unlike him HE "Trump" would NEVER be President! The smirky smile on Trumps face that night was priceless, and as most nonsense Mr. Obatard barfed out came back to bite him on his lil girly ass LMFAO!

And from all the Latino's I deal with here in an energy state were very disappointed with Biden while they all loaded up all their belongings and moved to Texas and many back to Mexico :)

Well ya, there was an upside to Biden winning

    Perhaps.
I did find out after my post that congress has the right to set National voting laws. It is new to my understanding as I'm not a constitutional scholar.
And congress does have the right to make some voting laws, I think.

I will most definitely get back to you on this one. I even remember reading about this one in a book I received as a 10 year old in 1974, a book about US presidents and about electoral abhorrations.

because it seems that a small group of people, out of emotional insecurity and perhaps penises that are just way too small, feel the constant need to lie about something that doesn't need to be lied about.

It's ..... sad..... very, very sad.

    I hear you. I promise.

However, I mean no disrespect, but you don't seem to be taking into account that the "average" citizen is NOT aware of how much personal information is already stacked in file somewhere. Unless a person works in cybersecurity or law enforcement or some other field related to those, people don't know.

Years ago, I advised a mother to stop posting her address on FaceBook. Not only did she have it listed for anyone to see, she had the names and photos of her kids and the name of their school. I was actually stunned when she said that she's not worried about it! I didn't say any more about it. I won't even give my kids personalized gifts because I don't want their names on blast for a weirdo to see.

I have two kids and I have never posted their names, photos, school, grades, etc. NOTHING online. NOTHING. I send them gifts in the ex's name. I won't even put their names on mail or boxes. No. I do not use social media and even when I did, it was general stuff.

Also, nobody outside law enforcement even seem to know that you can find any deceased person's SSN online for free.

Most people don't know how cookies work or even the grocery store "club" discounts. Every time they shop, some random third-party company knows exactly what they buy.

Every time we check books out at a library or via e-library, a report is generated.

People using Windows have to de-select "Remote Assistance" of anybody can get in their computer through a back door.

People that use any kind of map app can be tracked everywhere they go. I have all that turned off and just print directions if I'm going somewhere unfamiliar to me.

People with an employer have all their computer activity monitored. I've lost count on how many stupid people got fired for surfing for porn on a work computer. Some of those geniuses told me they didn't know because they were at home. Anytime you use a company provided computer or laptop and/or log into your employer's server, it's tracked.

One of my neighbors has 7 kids. He always did work under the table and cash jobs to avoid paying child support. About 5-6 years ago, he got approved for disability and half of that is taken out for his back child support and will be for the rest of his life.

I know another guy that got tired of paying his car note and drove his minivan to the city, doused it in gasoline and set it on fire. He filed a police report claiming that it was stolen but had to retract when the police showed him exactly where his vehicle was, a recording of him getting in it (we live near a hospital so the whole perimeter is monitored) and the two hour drive to the city and exactly where he set it on fire.

A friend of a friend moved in with some guy in her neighborhood. Last Summer they were in the backyard grilling and the police showed up. He was taken away. Come to find out, when she registered her kids for school with that address, a report was sent to the local police to pick him up because he's on the sexual offenders' list.

Decades ago I knew a guy that worked at the phone company. He did whatever the do on the phone poles. He bragged to me that he could make phone calls to anybody he wanted without it being traced so he was doing it to stalk women. All he had to do is go in the field, connect to whatever it is and it was completely untraceable.

I don't get it. I don't understand why people don't understand we don't want everybody in our business 24/7. I'm all for it for catching losers and low-lifes like some of the above, but just to have my or my kids' info *collected*, hell to the NO.

I posted elsewhere that I'm dealing with a whackadoodle friend who is a sex addict. She gives her address out to strangers she meets on the internet. I encouraged her to use my address because I live in a secure building. She lives in a garden apartment with no security or doorman. In the past 18 months, I've had to help her put a block on her SSN (because a guy asked for her DL to "know that she was really who she said she was") and he has tried twice to get credit with her info, intervened with a dude that was stalking her, gutted her FaceBook account because another scammer got her to send nude photos and then begged for money. When she said "no" (upon my advice) he threatened to publish the photos. He knew her kids and grandkids' names, where she banks and where she works. Why? Then, about a month ago, she let some random in her apartment (knew him 4 days) and was shocked that he was a creeper. And, I'm usually calm but she ticked me off because she told me that she kicked her cat across the room. I tried to get her to bring him here so I could keep him safe until I could find him a good and safe home and she refused. Come to find out, she's using the cat to stalk men that stopped calling her by threatening to leave him on their doorstep. I finally told her that I can't listen to any more of her trying to get herself raped or murdered. I can't do it. If she wants to miss her car note and her rent because she's sending some guy money, so be it. And, it's crazier than that. She had to file bankruptcy several years ago because she sent all her income to some online scammer so she's already done this rodeo.

WTH? And, I promise you most people that run across our conversation are going to roll their eyes and call us paranoid. For some reason I can't explain, some people need to learn stuff the hard way. I even told my aforementioned friend that she can *always* share more information about her life but she can't take info back once she's shared it with a stranger on a dating site. She won't listen. She has never turned down any man that contacts her and she has sex with them within minutes of meeting them. She goes to their houses at night, truck stops, etc.. Anything just beyond ridiculously stupid you can think of, she has probably done. She never says "no" except to me when I pleaded with her to at least use condoms and get pepper spray.

All we can do is protect ourselves and hope enough people out there understand the implications of these intrusive laws and some frogs won't jump no matter how hot the water gets. <sigh>

Of course they weren't discounted - I should have written it differently. I'm wondering what right leaners think about this plan, this effort, to discount votes.

I know very well, all things digital is a tracking device to every thing recorded in digital.
Meta data contains everything about the actions of a phone or computer. Everything. It's a digital continuous diary of it's every movement or keystroke.

You misunderstood my question. What crimes did members of the Republican Senate committees commit - as did agents of the DOJ and FBI - that I would want to see them in prison?
