In Defense of White People

Let’s hope you have more of a spine than these people when they inevitably will ask you to do just that

The OP of this thread does not identify anything that should be considered an "attack" on white people. If anything, it is evidence that some white people are way too sensitive.

 

Come back to us when you actually see anybody attacking white people.

The idea that ANYBODY attacks white people and that, therefore, they need to be "defended", is the lamest white supremacist propaganda. How unfortunate that you fell for it.

Amen. White people have nothing more to be ashamed of than any other race. Anybody who tells you different isn’t worthy of your attention.

 

First, it's more of a blog post than an article.

Second, the guy is whitewashing history like white people are the second coming of Christ.

He leaves out quite a bit about how we got this land and how the things were built.

 

This thread is accidentally illustrating the damage done by a corrupt media to our national consciousness.

If we didn’t “get” and “build”, we would be pushing a plow behind a Spanish horse in a country full of European colonies.

Perhaps it might be easier if everyone acknowledges that many races helped in building the USA, including Chinese who worked hard to build the railways, black people without whom the south would not have profited so much, and Europeans who created the US equivalent of the Industrial Revolution.
Why does it have to be one at the exclusion of all others??

Had it happen to me. In fact in my town had it happen to me like 7 or 8 different times.

 

That has NOT been true for many living here.
Blacks went a long time before they could actually be claimed as a whole person.
Women were denied the privilege of even for for over 100 yrs.

So NO, the ability to succeed has not be afforded every person living in the USA. And only with the last Century and less has the movement really made strides to allow everyone to be able to succeed.

 

Is that after you told people you want to see blacks back in chains?

 

My grandparents could vote.

My grandparents had access to education.

Those are just two examples of white privilege. I guess you will either claim that black people have those as well, or that those things aren't important. Either way, you'd be wrong.

 

There may be a reason for that.

My first assignment as a second lieutenant in the Air Force was to St Louis University to study meteorology. I mentioned that I liked to drive over into East St Louis Illinois to bar hop in the black bars. I enjoyed their music. A young black officer said that was dangerous and that he would be reluctant to bar hop in East St Louis.

 

Much of the South was built of the slavery of black people for about 100 yrs. Talk about privilege, eh?
I guess the Natives did get little patches of land they could call there own, so there's that.

 

The people in this thread who say there is no animus towards white people are the same people pushing for CRT to be taught in our schools and who tore down statues of white people. I can already hear it now ‘but that’s different.’

A while back there was a movie about a day without Mexicans, or something like that. Now I’m asking my left wing friends to think about what this country and the world would look like if white Europeans never existed. Guess what, you’d still have slavery, but who would you blame?

Look at the Haitians, they fled to S America, but their ultimate goal is to come here, a racist country the left says will oppress them. Same thing for Africans, Middle Easterners and SE Asians. Why would they come here just to be oppressed?

So take a look at what white people have accomplished and done for the world, and instead of calling us racist oppressors, how about saying thank you.

 

Inevitably? Dude, these people barely exist. Why pretend they represent anything?

 

Yea there is a reason for that, just not one that you are willing to acknowledge. Which is the problem.
