Krane, you're either indoctrinated into blindness or in denial. If they're not EQUALLY critical of all economic models (inclusive of Socialism/Communism), then this is pure propaganda.
Just responded to it. Communism was a symbol of anti colonial struggles. Arguably still is. 1. Please use mini quote system. 2. It’s Kranes. 3. Why? Why should they be?
No it freaking isn't. It's a system of keeping everyone fed and housed, via the 'work to eat' model. It has nothing to do with anything beyond that. Nope. Sorry .... Kranes. I thought you were Krane S. Why should who be what?
Help me out. I had you down as MTF, so what you're saying is that you're now a lesbian? Gigi Gorgeous?
Gender identity isn’t sexual orientation. I’m trans, and I’m pansexual. My gender identity is a trans woman. My sexual orientation is pansexual.
So you're MTF who is game for most iterations. How do you go with the Lesbian set? They'd be leary as heck wouldn't they? PS: I'm well aware that gender isn't sexuality .. but when it comes to Transland, there are correlations between sexuality and transition ideation.
Does your identity politics matter? No. Not really. I have had lots of relationships with cis women ever since I came out.
I'll bet no TERFs though. Or even generally 'radical' feminists. I belong to a TERF group, and about two thirds of them are lesbian. There's no way they'd go there. Their entire purpose is to keep biological males out of female spaces (and bodies). Edited to add that you'd think they wouldn't like us straight chicks either, but they're cool. As long as we're in line with the TE part of the deal, they're fine.
Yeah, sounds like TERFs alright. Bunch of lesbians who accuse trans people of being rapists. Because trans porn exists.
Well, woke and communists have a lot in common. Communists want to “equalize” by class, woke want to equalize by race. Whites and Asians are permanent bourgeoisie, while the rest are poor peasants. Both, woke and commies, are very authoritarian and share similar views.
i wish it weren’t. Basically the BBC published an article claiming trans women were pressuring lesbians into having sex with them. How? Because trans porn existed. The article got a huge backlash after one of the people cited in the article dozed a trans woman. It’s a big mess for the BBC right now. You can look up the article. It’s messed up.
It appears to me that it is basically an anthropology class with the underlying theme of how whites ruined the world. If they really want to do that kind of study, I'm perfectly fine with it. Just extend it to the rest of the world. Show the cultures from Mexico down to the tip of Argentina and explain how great they are doing. Explore the cultures of the Middle East and Africa and show how those cultures have done so much better than us. Fully explore Haiti and how it has performed so well vs. it's next door neighbor. Now, if they want to focus on just the cultures of the US, then be inclusive. Dive into what makes Chicago, Detroit, and Baltimore such beacons of light, shining their perfection on the rest of the nation. Until they want to be truthful, I'm not interested.
No, but I'd appreciate if you would at least try to be polite and not snarky about it. Since you obviously don't understand my comment, please refrain from replying at all.
How? "Through this, students will gain the knowledge, skills, and dispositions necessary for transformational change through a positive image of self, community, and critical hope for a more just and equitable world." I don't see strife, just awareness, acceptance, and tolerance. Please explain in detail how such a curriculum would promote strife.
Did you make that up yourself, or did you copy it from some right wing pundit or "news" source? "Through this, students will gain the knowledge, skills, and dispositions necessary for transformational change through a positive image of self, community, and critical hope for a more just and equitable world." How is that bad? Where is the evil in understanding, acceptance, and tolerance? A special "lens" is not required in order to see that we, as a society, do not treat everyone of every ethnicity in an equal manner. It is also not required in order to clearly see that acknowledging our differences is a key step in understanding and acceptance. We most definitely do not, currently or in our past, live in a society where all are judged on merit alone. In my opinion, such a curriculum would foster a more merit-based society, not detract from it.
For just one example, page 3 says: That comes across as "every other race should be proud of their race and find 'power' in it, except white people, no power for you, and you shouldn't be proud of your race". You don't see how that attitude is going to promote racial strife?
