    I figure you can't go wrong with fruits and veggies. I gave them the entire banana peel and all but I just took off the top part which was desiccated.

    Well I got off of my somewhat fat ass and peddled my somewhat fat ass to this park on my bicycle. It's about 4 MI from my house one way.

    I need to get back on the bike some more because after having getting my license and started being a motorist about 14 months ago I haven't ridden my bike very much.

    It's just too easy to turn a key and go where you want but I know that's not the exactly the best thing for your health of course.

    Anyhow here's this beautiful park on the Peace River. World famous for fossils.

    I appreciate the sentiment guys ... very kind ...

    I had all my labs sent to Duke University for a 2nd opinion and the agree with Mayo's diagnosis and treatment plan ...

    I checked into Mayo this morning and will be staying in the Village so my wife can be with me ... (out of pocket) ... nice little one bedroom apartment but with a hospital bed and medical equipment ... small kitchen and a pull out bed for my wife ... nice views of the McDowell's in the courtyard ...

    had more testing and a blood trans this morning ... my chemo cocktails start tomorrow ... rumble time ...

    anywho ... y'all behave and please remember that life is more than politics ... peace ...

    I have watched many of these rescue videos and it just amazes me at animal's ability to recover from abuse and trust again. the one with the Chihuahua I had seen before.. and I no longer find relationships between mammals of different species unusual, and I will have to include birds for bonding with animals of different species too.

    Just a different world! That's more trees than the rest of this town has .. combined (other than my ranchito, I have more trees that the town combined and than miles up either side of the river)

    I kind of check my political beliefs at the door when in here. Nice respite from those that require labels and use paintbrushes....

    I can sort of relate.

    My girlfriend has a cancer in her throat and she's been going through chemo and radiation now for several months.

    She has one more chemo and seven more radiations and then she's done.... I hope.

    Just stay strong and fight my brother she's about your age too.

    Going to buy a canoe Saturday. It's a 15 ft Mohawk fiberglass canoe said to be in excellent condition.

    Comes with two new paddles too. For $150. The guy told me where he lives catty corner from the jail. I said oh you're the bondsman!

    Maybe I can make friends with him you never know when you need a bondsman. Lol one certainly hopes not!

    Seems they cost around $1,000 new

    There's only one lady that's supposed to be in that canoe. Is she catches any other ones in there there might just be a problem :police: :hiding: :D

    That should work out well if you decide to try one of your fishing holes from the water side.

    Canoes and kayaks became a 'thing' and the prices sky rocketed. I'm considering trying kayaking, the neighbor offered to loan me hers so I could try it before I spent any money on it.

    I have a 10-ft single seater that just does fit inside of my minivan with the back door closed.

    My minivan has one of those aftermarket modifications where the frame is cut and there's a handicap wheelchair ramp that comes down from the back. I also keep my very long recumbent bicycle in it.

    The first time I took her on one my girlfriend fell off and into the water, I was able to save the boat from tipping though.

    We had gone like 97% of a two or three mile trip and the boat ramp was in sight....lol

    Mayo Clinic is the place to be, they work wonders. They really do, I can vouch for them. My husband went to some of the more famous university hospitals and eventually we went to the Mayo Clinic. They do fantastic work, in some cases even miracles. Prayers for you and your wife.
