The increase in crime in the United States is happening everywhere. As you remember, the mayor of Chicago even offered to send troops to fight crime....
Rising prices, inflation and falling living standards - this is the basis for the growth of crime.
As you all understand, this is only a miserable beginning.
Soon the US will face rising unemployment and this will further increase aggression and crime. In addition, we are seeing an increase in racial conflicts. Especially between Asians and blacks.
Recall at least the shooting in the New York subway.
And if earlier living in a prosperous area was at least a relative guarantee of security, today crime penetrates there too.
But if we dig deeper, we will understand that the reason is capitalism. Anyone with a brain can follow the logical chain - Capitalism breeds crises, crises cause unemployment, inflation, falling living standards...etc, and this in turn causes an increase in crime and aggression in society.
As Comrade Stalin said - "To destroy crises, it is necessary to destroy capitalism"

...and Biden actively promotes many thousands more coming across the border.

...and the Congress enables it. The end of the American experiment.

And Cali handicaps it's residents with stupid gun laws which, and this is gonna surprise many here, the criminals consistently ignore. And they keep allowing any criminal at all to wander over the border and get free stuff, which my friends in Cali have to pay for.

The gates around these homes will just get higher and higher. Soon it will look like all the neighborhoods in Mexico, with bars covering all the windows.

In the bad parts of Mexico, even all the wealthy homes have barbed wire topping their fences.

But the way, if you've ever wondered why in Mexican immigrant culture they pave over their front yards, it's because when they have a party everyone wants to stay in the front so they can keep an eye on their car parked on the street to make sure it will not be stolen.

There are ways to adapt. Americans can look at how things are in many parts of Mexico to get some ideas. A lot of the weird things that exist in other parts of the world are just that culture's adaptation to the problems that exist in that society. Like women in Muslim countries who wear burkas, it was probably so they would not get raped, avoid displaying any part of their body that might create a temptation for some other man in a public place.

Also, America wasn't exactly getting Mexico's "best and brightest".

It was a certain segment of Mexico's society who was illegally sneaking across the border.

I know one Mexican immigrant, a legal immigrant who moved several decades ago, who says he's flat out embarrassed by what he sees. And makes sure to tell Americans he meets that not all Mexicans are like what they are seeing.

This stuff will eventually spread to other parts of the country.

California wasn't like this 30 or 40 years ago.

Conservatives can say "I don't care what's happening, it's in another state", at their own peril.

Millions have already been emptying out of that state into other states.

(Like a cell that splits open after having been infected with a virus, releasing viruses off to infect other cells)

All the highly populated parts of Texas look like they are on track to become just like California in another 25 or 30 years.

There isn't much we can do except to watch it burn and hope to hell that governors like DeSantis do everything in their power to ensure that other states don't fall victim to progressive ideologies

You don't get it. In another 25 years, governors like DeSantis won't get elected. They will have no chance.

I do know that in California, by the time all the Conservatives finally realized what was happening, it was already much too late. Most Conservatives at the time said "I don't care, that will never happen. I don't see it happening now."

Conservatives, by their very nature, focus on "What can I do as an individual?" In a way that same strength was also ultimately their undoing.

So the initial response to crime was just to move away to another neighborhood further away with less crime. Of course eventually that crime just followed them and spread.

Entire cities of new houses were built just for people to get away from crime and bad schools.

Biden is acting like he is a servant of Satan.
Remember - the bird brought an olive branch to the biblical Noah, but the bird marked Biden differently. And this is symbolic.

Thus, the ruling class wants to keep the ordinary man in the street in fear. And through fear to control to them.

Crime is even higher in Chicago. Crime is on the rise everywhere. In some states the increase in crime is faster, in some states the increase in crime is slower. But the rise in crime is everywhere. And the main reason is the economic crisis.

Has nothing to do with ACAB, defund the police? Vilifying the police? Police understaffed? Police overworked? Letting Antifa and BLM run amok unchecked because "ma racism"?

If you have a society that just shrugs off "petty theft" and assault like it's just a price we have to pay for "muh diversity" you embolden those who would want to see how far they can push it.

    We then become Brazil.

Or we vote in sanity and get hard on criminals again.

Considering the simple fact that the majority of illegal immigration is the result of visa overstay, it would appear that Mexico is sending those who can afford a plane ticket...

Or "Spare the rod, encourage the thugs?" I'd love to see a comparison of crime in red states as opposed to blue?

Not true. It is only happening in large cities run by liberal administrators. It is not happening elsewhere. The liberal leaders are soft on crime resulting in increases in crime. Over time, these cities will decline even further. They will have even more crime and more poverty. Their only hope is to abandon liberal leadership and vote in people who will clean it up. I hope it happens, not because I care about the large cities, but because I don't want people leaving them and infesting areas where the rest of us live. The problem is not cultural. It results from more corrupt and incompetent government than suburban and rural areas have. Almost all the problems we have in the U.S. trace back to government action. If we can get Americans to embrace smaller government, we will enjoy a better life.

Mexico isn't sending them. They are sending themselves. We are just corrupt enough to allow it.

I think that the rise in crime will only increase. Because in addition to the factor of mediocre leadership in the United States, there is also a factor of the economic crisis.
As you know, a 1% increase in unemployment results in a 3% increase in crime. And this happens in any society, in any country in the world.
Now we are witnessing the growth of crisis phenomena in the economy. (rising prices, increasing inflation....growth in unemployment...etc) And this will certainly affect the growth of crime.

    I won't argue with you. But I wonder -
    Detroit
    Auckland
    Chicago
    Memphis
    cleveland
    Baltimore
    milwaukee
    New Orleans
    St. Louis
    Albuquerque...
In all these cities, the power is in the hands of the Democrats?

You can tell someone really doesn't know anything about America when they think a story about crime in Los Angeles is somehow new or newsworthy I guess?

And crime in Chicago? You don't say!

Out where I live things are as normal as they have ever been.

A lot of people live in ignorance, and the news they watch rarely reports this stuff.

It's true, maybe it's not really unusual or "newsworthy" but maybe people need to know this exists.

You live in the forest, fish, pick mushrooms...and thus live in peace and quiet. (I am sure that the savages in the Amazon Delta did not know about the second world war)
But in the cities of America, the increase in crime is striking journalists and police officers. At least that's what Fox News says.

You're not American, and even if you were there are a lot of Americans who are so naive they don't know about this.

Yes, pretty much all those cities, except Aukland and Milwaukee, are Democrat.

Pretty much all of those cities have large African American populations, except Aukland and Albuquerque, which has a large Hispanic illegal immigrant population.

I'm not sure which Aukland you refer to. If you mean the one in the country of New Zealand, that could be a separate topic for another thread discussion.

I don't mean to imply that there is any simple single explanation for the correlation, but several correlations clearly exist nonetheless.

Where is this growth in unemployment you are seeing? It’s probably never been easier to find a Job in America than it is now. Sure America has many problems that people like you, who incessantly hate and complain about America, while at the same time seem
like a Russian stooge can complain about, without just 100 percent making up things…….Now back to your regularly scheduled Pravda.

Auckland is in New Zealand, not the U.S. The others are run by democrats. I would describe some of them as medium sized cities. You left out Los Angeles, Seattle, San Francisco, Philadelphia, for instance which are large cities in democrat hands with serious crime problems. I wouldn't live in any of those places. Well, maybe Auckland would be OK. Actually, if I were going to live in a New Zealand city I would choose Christchurch. The South Island is one of the most beautiful places on the planet.

What a naive and myopic thing to say. I live in a small to moderate size city much like many Americans.
