Sure. "after gestation", but gestation is just another, earlier stage of development for that human life. Why is it so much less worthy of protection at that stage of development in your view?

 

It would be struck down as unconstitutional. If the federal government does not have the constitutional authority to protect abortion then they sure don’t have the ability to limit it either. It will be a states issue as it should.

 

Ah, so because in your opinion, the percentage of females being raped are so low, that we shouldn't worry about them when your party wants to force them to carry that rapists baby.

Tell us all again, what's your thoughts on voter ID? Voter fraud happens in a much lower percentage than Women being raped. But yet I bet you firmly believe we all should have to show ID to vote.

Even if your claims about the frequency were true, the salient difference is that no human life is snuffed out by the requirement to show ID before voting, as opposed to abortion which is the willful termination of a developing human life.

 

So I was correct. Your position is you agree with big government forcing everyone to show ID for something that happens far less than a Woman being raped. Tell me, have you always been a huge avid supporter of big government? When did conservatives crave more government in their lives?

 

Of course. This ruling took away their most valued political tool, so trying to ban abortion nationwide is the only way for them to retain it. They never wanted to move the issue to the States they just wanted to use the issue as a political tool to get evangelical votes.

I don't care what the Republican politicians say about the government because they ARE the government, and typically the more authoritarian version of it.

I don’t think it would be constitutional but I would love to see it happen for late term abortions. I suppose they could use the general welfare clause that democrats have extorted in recent history

They’re not the ones trying to force people to bake cakes, telling kids what they can and can’t have in school lunches, forcing men to have health insurance that covers pregnancy or birth control just to bring the price down on something they don’t need. They don’t try and take guns away (for the most part).
