He's on your side, he's yours. Own it. And he isn't the only one. Your secular messiah, Obama, voted for infanticide while serving as an Illinois Senator: https://www.nationalreview.com/corner/when-obama-voted-infanticide-andrew-c-mccarthy/ When Obama Voted For Infanticide
The law for the protection of life is article 2. https://www.equalityhumanrights.com/en/human-rights-act/article-2-right-life The 14th is about citizenship related to natural birth. It is not about rights being granted due to that birth. All people have certain unbailable rights even if they are not citizens or natural born. Its not one line in the sand. It is THE only line to draw in the sand. It is consistent with adults who a) have no capaicty for brain activity for which their life can be ended by removing them from life support. b) adults with major brain damage/disease that reduces their capacity for personhood but are still granted the right to life under the constitution. The only measure to use consistently to determine personhood is (no brain activity) vs (any brain activity)
My side? Is he Independent. And so what. I am not so stupid as to believe everything some moron prints. Are you?
Even you just said, rights being granted due to birth. I only brought up a legal definition for end of life as a possible term to define beginning of life. The line in the sand I mentioned is to determine beginning of life. AFAIK, unborn have no rights under the constitution, as they are not considered a person.
And almost impossible to get pregnant when used properly because the woman will not ovulate. Do you believe that using that stat if we monitored 100 women taking a BC pill who had sex last night that 9 would become pregnant? Nope not the way it works. If a woman has sex tonight taking the pill the is 1% chance of her getting pregnant, probably rounded up. If she has sex the next night there is not now a 2% chance or a 1 in 99. It's still 1%. Now the woman can even enhance that by not have sexual intercourse those few days prior to her ovulation when she is fertile. The man can wear a condom. She can take an over the counter morning after pill. She can do a pregnancy test every week to see if she is pregnant. LOTS of things can be done by responsible people to insure an abortion is not needed.
All the times I've been accused in this forum of being a sexist pig who wants to keep women barefoot, pregnant, and in the kitchen. If that isn't you, I apologize.
The 14th has nothing to do with the definition of life or person . If you brought up a legal definition of person, you didn't do so with me.
NONE of which they're obligated to do. AND IF Repubs want to stop abortions then start handing out FREE birth control...
You must have a low opinion of most women that they have to depend on everyone else to protect them from their own bad choices. They can grow the hell up and accept responsibility for their own lives without killing anyone.
Of course they aren't but then they should take responsibly for not doing so. Why do you absolve women of any and all responsibilty when it comes to abortion and killing unborn babies? And no one is obligated to pay for someone else's CHEAP birth control. Again why do you absolve woman of ANY responsibility for their own acts and their own bodies?
It's not me and I don't accept. If you don't know who or why you respond to someone, then just don't respond.
The legal definition of person, is what the constitution is written about. It can't define as a person those not yet a person. IE the unborn. There's nothing AFAIK that deals with the unborn in the constitution. So it boils down to the pregnant woman and her rights. And any rights said woman gives to the fetus. IMO.
And I will call out your outandish posts and silly attacks because one does that when they have no point to a topic. Ad homs are for losing positions. Getting educated on a topic is a good start.
Take your own advise and get educated. If you want to "call me out" expect responses in knid. Your opinions seem remarkably shallow and you need to be told so.
The problem for you, is I didn't call you out. I only stated that your post about someones lame opinion means nothing to me.
Then you should stop with that. If you go on to tell me who I should or shouldn't respond to my answer is "pi$$ off."
I think the poll is creating somewhat of a false dilemma. Of course people should be able to have access to birth control (if we are not talking about birth control methods that could be used to commit an abortion), but when you are asking whether it should be a "right", the question really is what type of right. It's an interesting question, but it is a very broad question. We know there's nothing specifically in the Constitution about birth control. I'm going to say it would probably fall under the proper jurisdiction of the states, if you're asking about whether the US Constitution would have anything to say about it.
Well the pill and IUD can keep a fertilized egg from implanting and taking extra of the bill can work as plan B. I mean is any medical treatment a right? Can a state ban chemo? Braces?
