no, i am merely telling you what corporate bosses think of us. don't believe it? that us not my problem.
Conversely, I'm aghast at how much time white supremacists spend worrying about such an unlikely outcome.
You are ignoring the point. If someone wants to know how many blacks were killed by blacks in Chicago last weekend, they will likely not find it in their local newspaper. They have to go search for it. Now, if they want to know how blacks were killed by a white man in Buffalo, it has been plastered on the front page of most, if not all of the newspapers in the US, for a couple of days.
Wow, this company has missed out on a whole segment of workforce we could have imported! I'm gonna bring this to the Top Dogs at our next Monday Morning Coffee Clutch!! **For those that need to be told, this post contains sarcasm.
After the BUF massacre, Liz Cheney is asking her fellow GOP reps to condemn the "great replacement" theory which inspires this kind of violence. I doubt independents, or Asians, or blacks are too concerned about it either. Vast majority of Latinos are white, but they don't seem concerned at all. As a matter of fact the fringe RW is the only group who think their race is under some kind of attack, and they believe in "one drop rule" where Latinos are not white enough to be considered white in their eyes. They think they are a race of their own.
Do you believe there is any difference between the news worthy-ness of gun crime in a city with high gun crime vs someone going on a shooting spree in a grocery store?
Sure. But why is that true? Because blacks frequently kill blacks, but whites rarely kill blacks. We never hear the part about whites rarely killing blacks. But, God help us, it was a white supremist.
I don't know, sounds a little genocidal. I don't understand, do you hold those views of black people, or aisan? I am sure you mean, you just want us all slowly and naturally breed into a single race of mankind. I am sure that's what you mean...
We will all eventually be the same color. That is what I mean. I don't care if whiteness (or blackness, or any other race) gets bred out of humanity. Anyone who does is a bad person.
I think it’s true because gun crime is understood to be common place in America. Most people have an expectation that it won’t affect them because they don’t involve themselves in activities that would put them on the receiving end of it (drug trade, gang activity, etc.). Mass shootings involving a gunman targeting, what are thought to be, safe places like schools, churches, and shopping centers get attention because they are the opposite. Everyone goes to these places. The possibility that you get shot in a mass shooting at a mall are higher than you getting shot while selling drugs if you don’t sell drugs. If you perceive a threat to be more likely for you, then it will naturally draw your interest. News providers report on things that people are interested in (usually). It’s how they retain viewership. On a side note: what would you have changed about the reporting on this shooting? Would you have preferred his race not be known? His motivations not be known? Would you have wanted them to point out that white people don’t shot black people?
Isnt that how you guys characterize all hispanics? I guess its always okay to target someone until its your group right?
Say what you want to, but Chicago isnt even near the top of the list of most violent cities. You guys just like to use it as a whipping pole to make a point that isnt even really true,.
It seems the conversation has gone far afield from the paranoid, far right wing, white supremacist conspiracy theory that inspired the shootings. Reps. Liz Cheney, R-Wyo., and Adam Kinzinger, R-Ill., are condemning Republican House leadership for promoting or failing to denounce extremist ideologies — such as the “great replacement” conspiracy theory — that police say motivated the alleged gunman in Saturday’s deadly mass shooting at a supermarket in Buffalo, N.Y., where 10 people were killed. Almost all of the victims were Black. “The House GOP leadership has enabled white nationalism, white supremacy, and anti-semitism,” Cheney tweeted on Monday. “History has taught us that what begins with words ends in far worse. @gop leaders must renounce and reject these views and those who hold them.” Authorities say that the suspect, Payton Gendron, posted a manifesto online detailing his plans to target Buffalo’s Black population. The 180-page manifesto included a litany of racist and antisemitic conspiracies, including the idea that white Americans are at risk of being replaced by people of color through immigration. https://www.aol.com/news/cheney-kinzinger-condemn-gop-leaders-144445317.html
I have never said any such thing, do you have any other general straw man you wish to try to apply to me? Meanwhile the op actually said that.... But of course you don't have a damn word to say about that
I wasnt referring to you specifically. I was referring to your ilk in general. We hear all the time how lazy, and rapey all these hispanics that creoss the border are.
