Why do abortion rights people whine about a group of white men overturning Roe v. Wade?

No, it is not 'obvious'. He makes reference to what States MAY do, and why. He doesn't say that is the reason he is removing (in the Opinion) Roe from Federal Purview.

I provided you with information regarding 'privacy' of one's medical records, which would include procedures such as abortion. The 'privacy' factor is null since Obama mandated electronic records. No coloration, no attack. Simple statement of fact.

The Democrats did not codify it when they had the (likely) ability to do so. The Democrats could have prevented the SCOTUS from doing what they MAY do, and it has been discussed for years that it may eventually happen.

IMO, it was left as is by the Democrats, to use as red cape to stir up liberals that the Republicans would try to take their abortion rights away, but they did nothing to prevent that possibility.

    Several.

And the rest? What would prevent a woman from crossing state lines where she is free to receive an elective procedure?

There is a underlying concern from some groups that if Roe is no longer a Federal issue, that Federal funding will also no longer be available. Personally, I think this may drive some of the angst, that people may actually have to pay for the service they receive.

Dismissing something you don't like as 'lame' is not a substantive counter.

I posted facts. You haven't responded with facts, you responded with opinion.

What about it? It was reversed by Brown v. Board of Education.

The hyperlinks "Jim Crow" and "reemerging" link to voter ID laws! And the leftist Washington Post journalist calls them "Jim Crow!" So right off the bat, I know that this is a piece of crap JOKE article which simply cannot be taken seriously! :roflol:

How the hell was it "declining to enforce federal laws?" Shelby County v Holder wasn't the court declining to enforce a federal law, it was the court saying that a federal law is unconstitutional! And yes, that law was once in place, whereby local governments were required to obtain federal preclearance before implementing any changes to their voting laws or practices, at a time when States treated black people as sub-human. The Democrats are obsessed with top-down government control, even when it is no longer required. The Republicans however, are happy to let Florida be Florida, and California be California. This is called federalism. It's what the United States is founded on. I - an Australian - should NOT be telling you this! And tell me if I am wrong @RodB, @kazenatsu, @spiritgide, @Seth Bullock, @Bluesguy, @Giftedone, @drluggit, @XXJefferson#51, @AmericanNationalist, @modernpaladin.

So if Democratic decision making was strictly in the hands of democratic bodies, would Roe v Wade exist? Would Obergefel v Hodges exist? Or do those cases conveniently fit into what you think the court's scope should be? I would guess that you're perfectly okay with those cases simply because you happen to like what they achieved.

So why is the judicial review of federal laws bad, but judicial review of state laws good?

Well I was asking so that it could be cross referenced with material on the Pence law. You made the claim that Pence wanted specifically the penetrative ultrasound to be mandatory. Can you substantiate that claim?

Already did .. what part of forced ultrasound .. 18 hours before abortion .. did you not understand "Mandatory" even thought they did not use that word.. do you understand . that when you make law .. it can be referred to as "Mandatory" ... 2 + 2 ... up the whoop dee doo doo ... ohh ..sorry .. not that hole .. the other one .. Vagina .. Vaginal .. did you not understand what that was ? Vagina ?

and you see .. they "Penatrate" with this special ultrasound .. the Vagina .. inserted into the Vagina .. Pence figuring that one was necessary over a regular one placed on the belly ..

So ... now you know .. "Mandatory Vaginal Penetration" .. Mike Pence .. MVP -Candidate .. coming to a clinic near you :)

The Bloomberg Law article which you linked to doesn't say anything about "penetrate" or "penetration." Simple.

The name is irrelevant, and I shouldn't have even asked for it. The fact is that you're claiming that the Ultrasound being referred to was the Vaginal Penetration kind. You have yet to substantiate that claim.
