https://www.foxnews.com/media/california-jewelry-store-employees-fight-robbers haha check out this guy run all the way from the back and pommel a guy. Major hats off and I think these people should be rewarded. The only problem I see with this is that if this becomes a trend we may see the use of more than blunt objects by the robbers.
It is usually against company policies for employees to do anything to stop a crime in progress; however, that is usually the big box stores. Also, most petty criminals rely on the element of surprise so they aren't necessary MMA-ready type people. I have never turned a blind eye to somebody being abused in public and every person except one didn't want to take me on. They are all useless wimps. They are just loud and aggressive but they have to smash-and-grab or beat on kids, women and the elderly because those are the only things they can get away with.
That’s a family owned store. They needed Glocks to finish this job properly, criminals need to fear their victims.
The employees pretty much followed the "run, hide, fight" policy that was developed under GW Bush. However, the robbers were stupid, were too slow, and allowed the employees of the store the chance and hope to fight back. Also, thieves usually do a smash and grab when the store is closed and no one is there. Again, another mistake by the perpetrators. Well, play stupid games, and win stupid prizes from the perpetrators. Furthermore, the smash and grab of jewelry is nothing new, whether in suburbia or urban areas. And this is from a couple of months ago in Beverly Hills.
So you're the expert on thievery techniques? Interesting take on a thread about people fending off low life thieves.
So you think this was the first smash and grab you ever heard about? Even from the video, all are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. Yet, the video evidence is the first step. The detective should get underling from the fingernails of the brother, sister, and another employee so that a DNA match can be initiated and identify the perputrators, or other crime scene evidence to be collected and analyzed. Once the perputrators are identified through whatever evidence there is, then there is enough probable cause to arrest them, or do you just want random black people to be arrested for the crime. As for experts, that would be the robbery detectives of the local police department. I know a few, maybe you should talk to them.
Robbery is the American way? Maybe for democrats it is. Of course, in California, that means armed thieves and people who are forced to defend themselves without weapons. It's certainly the democrat vision for America.
The one that appeared to use the sledgehammer as a weapon should be charged with assault with a deadly weapon. But being California, nothing will happen. Pretty soon every business will have a sally port.
How it this a wake-up call when robberies are an ancient thing? It was actually surprising the criminals were not armed (one had a hammer), and the owners were lucky in that regard.
pay employees well and they will fight for ya, give em min wage and they will stand back and watch course we also have to watch the rich, they can steal even more from the people
Not strange about it. Just citing the legal stuff to you so-called conservatives who tend to forget the Constitution every now and again. But then again, do you think this was the first smash and grab out there. Wasn't hard to find another type of robbery on an internet search. Look, hats off to the owners of the establishment. It is why I said they followed the "run, hide, fight" doctrine. So, not worried about that, and a clear case of self-defense. I also said the perpetrators were stupid in this specific situation and that most smash and grabs are done at night when the store is closed.
