Its amazing how the lefty anti gun all of a sudden doesn't understand simple post then goes on their rabid call for telling you what you said. So I will dumb it down for you so you can stop with all the nonsense. This is what I posted They waited 45 minutes to breach the room while children were bleeding out. So its either cowardice or incompetence. But thats what you get when you push to defund and prosecute cops. Which means two things 1. The cops who came to the school are either cowards or incompetent. 2. This is the kind of law enforcement you can look forward to in the future with the lefts ongoing defund police rants and anti police rhetoric I can understand how that might be over your head or you could be just playing dumb about what I posted. Either way, it explains a lot about you.
Or wounded, or have actually been shot at. It doesn't really matter how you define "victim". Nothing changes the fact the teacher that propped the door open is responsible for the shooter entering the building.
LOL I knew you would make that claim! The irony in your post where you claim this response will happen in liberal cities even though the incident you mentioned happened in a deep red district in a red state. Care to explain how the cops were reluctant to intervene with the shooter but had no issues with arresting, tasing and pepper spraying parents. All these things open you up to lawsuits. Did they not know liberals are watching?
A measly 30k gets you a brandy new Haas mill that will easily run in a garage. A used manual Bridgeport in good shape is maybe 3k. The knowledge needed to use these tools is abundant. That's what you can't eradicate. The tools to make things exist. The knowledge to make things exists. More evidence to this point is the fact that the news media, eager to support the ghost gun narrative, has been signal boosting every single story of a ghost gun arrest. Here in CT I see them weekly. https://nypost.com/2022/05/17/connecticut-teen-grandpa-busted-for-illegal-ghost-gun-operation/ https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.ww...n-arrested-after-three-ghost-guns-seized/amp/ https://www.westernmassnews.com/2022/05/26/springfield-man-arrested-allegedly-building-ghost-guns/
Yeah, thats all the imaginary claims of the left as to why they shouldn't discipline their children. All of a sudden, a spanking becomes a smack? Its very easy to see the difference between disciplined children and children of this (Smack) theology. All it took was one look from my father and I knew I was out of bounds and quickly adjusted my attitude. Just like every other kid I knew. Our parents weren't these weak minded individuals who think little johnny doesn't need his feelings hurt by not getting a trophy for everything he did. They didn't coddle their children with time outs afraid to use the word no, or drugged them up with ADHD drugs because they couldn't handle these coddled children in school. Funny how in 18 years of school I never heard of any kid smacking their father. Not even once. It wasn't even heard of. Kids of that generation weren't that stupid. Why, because you would get your ass torn up, thats why. Every single kid I went to school with were subject too the schools corporal punishment and again when they got home. Every single kid I knew in school, that I know still today, is completely baffled by this imaginary smacking the left has created But now we see the effects of these undisciplined, coddled, every child get a trophy, no child spanked generation. Don't we. And even in the face of these 18-19 year old mass shooters, who were lied too their entire lives, can't deal with the real world being told no all the time, completely entitled thinking just because they turn oxygen into carbon dioxide, they are all owed something, the left still can't understand it. But thats not the real truth. The real truth is, they do understand it but don't want to admit their idiotic smacking claims turned their children into mental morons who have no place in society so now they create safe spaces with puppies and coloring books to calm their delusional upbringing.
So you knew up front what I was talking about but chose to ignore it to push your own false narrative of what I said. Sounds about right NEXT And here we are with another fake claim because you can't handle the actual post. Care to quote me saying that? Nope. Because you knew when you said it you were lying. NEXT I guess you didn't want to bring up the state with the most mass shootings in the nation. Did you. Can you say C_A_L_I_F_O_R_N_I_A NEXT I did. Either cowards or incompetent. Read much? NEXT Like I said. Cowards or incompetent.
I'll give you this from a "I did this" perspective. When you arrive on a scene and everything is going nuts you follow the bad guy as hard and fast as possible since these are exigent circumstances. The moment the watch commander is either on location or on the radio, they call the plays. Like I said when this first broke, they likely (and did) were told to stand down and wait. Just because you WANT to go and do something doesn't mean you can when it comes to gov work. This is not the movies.
So? If possession of a ghost gun gets you 5 years mandatorily you're not going to see that many of them. Isn't a gun specifically designed to be untraceable at least as dangerous as having a tiny amount of cocaine?
You still haven't answered the question. I think it is because you believe a child would never hit back once hit themselves. I am saying it is certainly a possibility, so what do you do in that eventuality? Hit them again only harder?
Like you said, the police response was a result of defunding the police and prosecution of officers. You then changed your story saying this will happen in the future when I called you out on this being a deep red county. We're not talking about most mass shootings. We're talking about the lack of response of the police because in your words they were scared of being prosecuted.
I do that a lot, which comments are you referring to. The comments above are an illustrative example. It's reasonably clear to anyone that it's not referring to any existing situation. ( btw where I live they just made ghost guns illegal, 5 year penalty)
"If possession of a ghost gun gets you 5 years mandatorily you're not going to see that many of them. Isn't a gun specifically designed to be untraceable at least as dangerous as having a tiny amount of cocaine?" 1. not an apples to apples comparison. 2. coke is already illegal but making a gun is not. 3. the gun isn't "untraceable" it still leaves a barrel and firing pin signature. 4. This is how I get to be a billionaire.
Sorry, Don't have an answer as I have never heard of it. EVER As kids of my generation had what we call respect for their parents. But what is the point? If .00000002% of children hit back, thats the reason for not spanking? You want to single out one incidence and make it the rule for all? But I will tell you one story I do know about. A buddy of mine took in 4 kids from ages 9-15. He was a single adult and these were adopted kids. The 12 year old boy he took in was bringing home bad notes from school, so he told him if he brings home another one he was going to get spanked. A few days later the kid brought home yet another note for disrupting class and fighting with the other kids so as he promised, gave him the spanking he deserved The kid called the cops and said he was being beaten by his dad so the cops showed up and told my buddy they were going to take the child. My buddy said, hold on, while he went and packed up all the kids belongings, gave it all to the officers, and said, you take care now. 3 days later the officers brought the kid back with their apologies wanting to drop the kid back off. My buddy told the cops, not until you explain to him, if he acts up, he is going to get spanking after spanking until he learns some respect and discipline. And if he can't abide by my rules, he isn't welcome here That kid now runs his dads horse business, and his dad is his biggest hero. You are under some impression that a child becomes so defiant that he/she becomes some kind of authority in the house by striking back and you want me to say just hit them harder. Yet thats not how it works. I was spanked many times for my behavior as a child and as kids go, I deserved more than I got. But I learned valuable lessons in my life and it never even crossed my mind to strike my father. I knew what I did was wrong and I knew why I was getting disciplined for it. What you are trying to conflate is an abused child being mistreated. There in lies the difference.
I can't make sense of your first paragraph. I never said everybody who owns a gun is a moron. I said it was morons with guns causing the problem (of mass shootings).
Fake claim made up by your own imagination But feel free to repeat it even when you can't provide such a quote from me It only shows your own decision to lie instead of facing the facts of what I posted Another fake claim as I didn't say that, I said you ignored the state with the most mass shootings Of course, thats a subject you don't want to discuss because it doesn't fit your fake agenda Taking my claims out of context (even after I explained to you what I posted) only means you have run out of intelligent things to add.
212 shootings this year (to the date of the Uvalde shooting) is NOT minuscule. But this thread is focusing on how the nonsense about "the only way to stop a good guy with a gun..." has bit the dust. If you want to discuss other measures to reduce shootings, the proper thread is this one... http://www.politicalforum.com/index.php?threads/how-to-ban-guns-without-firing-a-single-shot.600040/
Probably won't see them. They'll be there though. Just like the cocaine that you don't see. Weird choice of example. I mean, do you think it's hard to get cocaine?
so what you're saying is that relying on our government for protection is not the answer? Seems you're making a very strong pro 2nd amendment point here.
Only 212? https://www.google.com/amp/s/abcnew...top-annual-homicide-records/story?id=81466453 Violence in general is increasing. Seems like a symptom of a much bigger problem than just gun ownership. You believe gun regulation can reduce death, but what to do about the actual disease? If you have a problem with a group of teens that choose to cut themselves as coping mechanism, is the solution to make sure that grandfathers are unable to shave? Will that save the teens, or will they need to replace that coping mechanism with some other one?
Rely on them to do what? To continue to taze and abuse law abiding citizens while criminals run free to burn, loot, murder, and riot?
