Sure, but in that case it isn't going to be a strike on cities. Think about it - you have a few thousand nukes and want to
    1 - destroy your enemy
2 - protect your own assetts and civilians

so you spend the bulk, if not all, of those nukes on missile silos, ports, submarine pens, airfields and the like. Blowing up a city (or a part of a city, actually) isn't going to help the two central goals.

Dresden was reduced to ashes in WW2.

Nukes are immensely more powerful than regular explosives, and there are thousands of them. Any country would be devastated.

With the condition that NATO does not move one inch further east. You can find this agreement in the released national archives. This was discussed many times by Clinton and Yeltsin. Then Clinton wrongly used NATO in the former non-NATO country Yugoslavia and he accepted 3 eastern European countries into NATO in 1999 breaking the agreement with Russia. So it should be of no surprise when Yeltsin selected little known Putin to become the next President, and ex-KGB agent who loathed the west.

How many nukes would you need to flatten the entirety of Los Angeles?
Would these nukes not be wasted if Russia or China was at nuclear war with America?
What about American submarines and missile silos, shouldn't they be the focus of nuclear strikes?

Comanches were really bad people. I am related to Cynthia Parker, mother of Quana. Make your hair stand on end reading about Comanche.

In 10 minutes, all nuclear submarines and mines will send their missiles. There is no point in destroying them.

Russia wants to deprive the United States of hope of winning a nuclear war with acceptable damage.
Under these conditions, the US will have no reason to attack Russia.
Russia does not set itself any other tasks. If a general war starts, then Russia is not interested in either victory or the preservation of its own population.

It is for the enemies that Russia makes bad decisions.
For Russia itself, these are good decisions.
Mark Milley is the military leader of the USA, and all the enemies of Russia recognize the USA as their Master.
Therefore, Mark Milley is your military leader.

Russia has conducted a series of wars against her neighbors. And threatened the Baltics and Finland.

It is very likely that the losses of the Ukrainian army reached 200,000 people.
    ==============

AMERICAN GENERAL: "200 THOUSAND FIGHTERS MYSTERIOUSLY DISAPPEARED FROM THE APU"
"A huge number of soldiers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine simply fell out of sight of American curators." American Lieutenant General Stephen Twitty made a statement about the likely losses of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. We are talking about the death of hundreds of thousands of soldiers.

According to Twitty, Washington has lost about 200,000 Ukrainian soldiers out of sight.

"200 thousand fighters somehow mysteriously disappeared from the Armed Forces of Ukraine, and no one will say where they are today," the German newspaper Linke Zeitung quoted the military as saying.

“Either there was disinformation about the mobilization, or they were defeated,” the lieutenant general concludes, adding that it is important for the United States to know the true state of affairs at the front, and not to receive disinformation from Ukrainian colleagues.

Moreover, the misinformation concerns the allegedly large losses of the Russian military.

Really? Do you think Ukraine was going to invade Russia, like Hitler did?
Do you think maybe Finland or Lithuania were going to invade Russa, like Napoleon did?

There are 30 nations in NATO, and they are there for ONE REASON - RUSSIA.
There are 27 nations in the EU, and Putin fears this more than NATO because when Ukraine becomes a member the EU will lift its standard of living. And here we have 'little Russia', so close to Russia in culture and connections, having a standard of living much much higher than Russia - and it can't be hid. Russia has always hid the extent of its own poverty from its people. Putin himself said about half of all hospitals in Russia don't have running hot water. To the West this is inconceivable.

    https://www.nato.int/cps/cn/natohq/official_texts_25468.htm

Russia signed NATO-Russia founding act in 1997. According to that document, Russia and NATO are not to treat each other as enemies. Any reference to verbal discussions of 1990 are irrelevant in light of this signed document. ;)

One could also state that USA is the future challenge to China and USA is capable of destroying Russia today.

1,165 people starved to death in UK National Health System hospitals in 4 years

The reason is "the nurses are too busy to feed the patients." According to figures released by the National Statistical Office in response to a request from Freedom of Information, for every patient who dies of starvation, 4 patients die of dehydration.

The Daily Mail notes that in 2011 alone, 43 patients died of malnutrition, 291 died of severe malnutrition, and the number of malnourished patients discharged from hospitals doubled to 5,558.

NHS hospitals have also been accused of falsifying numbers to disguise the number of patients who died from poor care. Often, NHS patients were abandoned when they asked for water, or left hungry by leaving trays of food too far away for them to reach.

Are you suggesting that they use a nuke to sink a sub? lol. That's like using a sledge hammer to kill a mouse.

Submarines likely play cat and mouse with each other in what is a VERY large ocean.

How many nukes would it take to flatten Los Angeles? 1. As I think beyond the radius of the bomb itself, the fallout that spreads to a larger degree afterwards. The entire infrastructure of aid and help would be destroyed. Think of what happens with a hurricane except make that worse. Those unlucky to be left alive would be on their own to survive somehow.

    Good read.

Sounds nice, but I don't think the Pooteen will step down. :(

He's too attached to his power. He loves the illusion of being a great leader and commander. He will continue to fight until Ruzzia is too broke to finance the war.

Ruzzia's weak economy will break its neck once again, just as it happened when the SU collapsed. :)

The problem I heard isn't the equipment. It's the training.
