In the movie Gladiator, a jewish person (joaqiuin phoneix) is depicted as a roman emperor. Not only is this kind of ironic but isnt it a case of romanface i.e casting jewish ppl in totally non jewish roles? Since jewish ppl want to cry about helen mirem or other "non jewish ppl" cast in "jewish" roles, isnt it hyper sensistive? since idont hear or see any "jewish" ppl EVER, totally never in my life time, complaining about destroying the black race by the painting of a white jewish face on the one they call the son, thats a total disgrace. Utter hypocrites, take your seat at the back.
Grew up in the southern US and I was a young adult before I realized that Jews were considered by some to be a different race. They seemed like just normal white people too me.
Jewish folk like to call themselves a separate race so they can play the race card. It's a total sham.
This is race baiting and inheretently racism. What is à "white Jewish face"? And for heavens saké. This is about ACTING. When people become something they are not Dont you have more productive things to talk about?
Jews can trace their ancestry back to arabic roots. Are Arabs à race,? Jews don't play the race card. Fascists do by delineating that as a race.
Really? I am Jewish and never have nor do I recall any Jewish person that I know doing that I guess we can add that to the stereotype list though
My discussions ON THIS FORUM with so called Jewish folk ALWAYS involves them claiming it's a race/ethnicity.
Some jews are not all jews. When one just makes a blanket statement about any group, that, in my opinion, is wrong Jewish is a religion and for some a culture My race is Caucasian My ethnicity is 3/4 Russian 1/4 Romanian Many others that I grew up with would give similar answers Are there ones that feel as you suggest? I am sure, but I would not agree with them
Judaism is à faith with it's own cultural expressions attached JUST LIKE ANY OTHER RELIGION. Including Christianity.
Jews are distinct enough there are genetic disorders that affect mostly them. (Off the top of my head, Tay-Sachs.)
