It's 70-80F degrees in Hanover. Why would you need to turn on central heating or use air conditioning? And turning off public fountains is desperate? Any there any other matters that you're going to Karen on about?
Muh Russia! Muh Russia! Everyone else in the world are saints and peaceful loving people except Trump, Putin and white supremacists! CNN is hiring. Ever thought of replacing Fredo?
Well they are walking the walk out of necessity I guess. I have always been amused by New York liberals who are green whackos who have never once complained about Broadway and the Manhattan skyline being lit up like Christmas every damn night of the week.
Off the top of my head Healthcare Gun Control Criminal Justice Infrastructure Investment (until last year) Education Investment Treatment of Women Down to a single effective political party
So you think it stops here. I don’t know what to say. BTW, calling someone a Karen is a racist and misogynistic slur, but it’s different when you say it, right?
If any of those are failures, you can blame the Democrats, except for gun control. That's where failure is a good thing. Treatment of women? WTF does that even mean?...lol
So here is another Karen speaking out. lol https://www.brusselstimes.com/world...gest-energy-crisis-ever-says-economy-minister Germany is facing its “biggest energy crisis ever,” said German Economy and Climate Minister Robert Habeck on Thursday during a series of company visits in the south and east of the country.
Education investment? CA devotes half their general budget to education and they had to lower the requirements to graduate. Tell me, how does money make a kid learn?
Instead of mocking, the US should take notice of what Europeans are doing and follow the example. Per capita energy use is almost half in Germany compared to the US. The US: 4% of the world's population, 17% of the world's energy consumption -- winning. Imagine what could be done to gas and oil prices if the US would bring its wonton energy consumption in line with that of other civilized countries, with no discernible change of living quality. But, rather, Trumpers in the US cry "drill baby drill" and "Biden did this". We truly have a problem, and it is not shutting off hot water in public buildings.
Of course it is a crisis. No one said anything different. But he is not complaining about the trivial matters of not being able to use central heating or air conditioning in public buildings
This is like a a how-to on getting Germans to route for Russia. They'll only huddle in the cold for so long before they start thinking "I hope Russia hurries up an wins soon..." Sadly Im sure they'll still be happy to build more 'renewables' that have to be supplimented with more autocrat's fossil fuels when spring rolls around again...
If the US increase it's oil and gas production the spot prices for it will go down. And the US will lose revenue on its sales. In thecUK there is consternation because the energy companies are selling their supplied and making à notable fortune while the lack of supply is causing household bills to triple. The whole international system of buying and selling energy to make profits for shareholders and pension funds has been found to severely damage the simple consumer with no vested interest. I hope this situation will force à correction in how governments prioritise their energy businesses to satisfy home consumption first. Even if it costs energy companies their ever rising profit margins.
~ Hopefully the West is beginning to realize the fiasco of "Green Renewable Energy " — of which there is no such thing. I believe many already know that Co2 has nothing to do with global anything — except another ruse for government authority and control.
The fiasco is free market where we can see energy companies reporting massive profits while keeping gas prices at record highs. There is no incentive for the companies controlling the effective monopoly to reduce prices. There isn't a shortage of gas as every station has gas to sell at record charges
If the price the free world has to pay is to live in third world conditions, then I think people forgot the whole point to the Liberal movement in the 20th and 21st centuries. The point for example in fighting for labor laws, removing children from the work place and granting certain rights for adolescents/teens to begin their working careers with those rights. Germany making itself a poorer country isn't standing up to Putin, the more gas Russia keeps, the more for their tanks for example. And if it does need to export, eventually the strain will be such that if it's not Germany, it'll be some other new business partner. The Western strategy is to simply cut their nose to spite their face. We haven't stopped the Ukrainian war, and we've vastly made our global western economies worse. Hurray.
Do you know why there's 17% energy consumption? I'll give a hint with US energy production: https://www.eia.gov/energyexplained/us-energy-facts/ Our GDP is as high as it is, because of our economic marketplace activities. If our consumption goes down, maybe supply will go up as well but lack of activity will also follow. Our energy consumption is not the problem, the lack of supply is. And guess whose policies are against our supply chain? Let's go Brandon. While he doesn't want to accept responsibility(while famously claiming that he does). I think voters shouldn't let him off the hook. Vote him in for 2028, then he'll have nothing to hide behind. If the policy is so righteous, another four years should turn it around.
Hardly.... a few austerity measures versus an entire economy being systematically destroyed eventually?? http://www.politicalforum.com/index.php?threads/the-russia-sanctions-bite.602239/ Again... small prices to pay...
Our economy isn't being destroyed per se because of the invasion. They have been hording food supplies and other necessities by blockading the Ukrainians, but if that's an issue(and it is), instead of the sanctions strategy(which again, to reiterate has not accomplished our goals) we should have showed a show of force at the defense of the Ukrainians at their border. The Russians either would've been beat back hard or they would've turned tail and ran. Instead, this is the strategy we went with: Hollar about the war and engage in a economic tiff-taff with Russia that leads no one, nowhere.
But has Germany succeeded in strangling Germany for compliance, as you claimed? It seems that Germany had grown a pair and will be happy to put on the Woolen jumpers in winter.
