    So what it's a change.
    Not being eliminated.
So no, no discrimination. Just losing a privilege. Which is really what the OP is about.

It's a terrible debate tactic. People use it when there's no practical response to something. AS you did.
Your scenario of your wife showed no discrimination. She was just delayed.

Really? I've been assaulted a couple of times, unprovoked. And my grandmother was killed when two black kids dragged her down the stairs stealing her purse.

Yeah it is. But I have no problem with it. If the Democrats want to be the anti-white party, let them.

Most white males don't run anything and never have. This is what happened to wages.

    upload_2022-8-7_16-10-36.png

The most they ever got was 5% higher than in 1979 and that was because of covid. They're back down now.

Blacks haven't been stealing white folks' lunches.

So was it my privilege that got me into West Point, or the fact that I worked my ass off, got good grades, graduated 2nd in my HS class, had many extra-curriculars, and all that other stuff? Or did the admitting team just look at my application, and somehow knew I was white and said, OK, he's in.

Having to wait a year is discrimination, too.

Regular folks are fighting over scraps...

Liberals need to return to their roots of looking after everyday Americans. At the same time, they need to thoughtfully take steps to save the planet.

Probably a bit of both: maybe you worked hard, but you were privileged to reach West Point in the first place. Don' even try to deny it.

At one point in time, a black person with the same credentials as you could never attend.

Changing which primary or caucus gets first dibs is not about inclusiveness. It is about choosing the next presidential nominee for that party.

BTW, I am not saying what the Democratic party is doing is right or wrong, but I can see why they want to change. A Democratic nominee that has won the Iowa caucus generally does not win the nomination. The candidate that wins Iowa tends to dissipate in New Hampshire and South Carolina primaries. Finally, candidates are generally selected after the first or second super Tuesday primaries with the states that have the largest delegates.

Interesting. I could have had a Presidential appointment to West Point I didn't deserve. I won't say how it could have happened, but I didn't deserve it even though I went to college when I was16.

I always thought the honorable thing to do was not try to get what someone else may have earned.

I wonder how many undeserving people accepted an appointment. I hope not too many. You were there. How many do you think got in by having pull? George Bush with a Harvard MBA? Absurd.

Anyway, you guys would know if there are many there like George W. Bush was in Harvard.

My curiosity is one of a person wondering about a road not travelled. Lots of military in the family. One uncle a Col. USAF, another a Maj. Gen. USA, and father-in-law a Col. USAF. I much admired them.

Better here than back in Africa, especially for their future generations. Go ask some Africans how much better their lives would be here, compared to there? Doesn’t justify slavery but name another nation that has created as many black millionaires? None even come close.

So you agree with me that this was not the greatest country for some people that were living here.

But elite bicoastal secular progressive establishment whites are leading this movement and the are targeting middle and working class whites. Now they are targeting working class Hispanic Americans as well.

What happens if the GOP keeps Iowa and New Hampshire #1 and #2 and democrats do something else and the GOP doesn't run its primarty in those states until later? Im certain that this is going to be the result of a democrat move

You can say that for EVERY country, so it’s a stupid statement. There were slaves everywhere at some point. The difference is slavery is abolished here while it’s still around in Africa and some other countries. The only wealthy black people living there now are warlords and drug dealers, except in South Africa, but that’s falling a part. Poor black people in Africa are starving. Poor block people in the US have the luxury of being obese due to how much they can eat. Pretty damn good you can be poor AND fat. Fat used to be connected with happiness because only the wealthy had the ability to get fat in the first place. Now you can be a giant pig and sit on unemployment and welfare.

No country is greater at creating more wealthy black people. Not even comparable.

I think you must have skipped over the very first paragraph.

Democrats are poised to strip Iowa of its traditional lead-off spot in the presidential nominating calendar in 2024, part of a broader effort to better reflect the party’s deeply diverse electorate by allowing less overwhelmingly white states to vote first.

It IS a very bad debate tactic to claim whataboutism because that is an automatic confession from the person who said it.
