    A president can declassify any document he wants too.
    So you explain how they can find illegally lifted documents.
    If this winds up to be a search for another crime by raiding a former presidents home then Democrats will pay heavily for it.
    YOU better hope they have felony indictments at the ready and irrefutable evidence they confiscated.

    The Executive branch ... sorry, I wasn't clear. Search warrants have to be issued by judges, who are part of the Judicial branch.

    They would have taken anything that was described in the warrant. They had lists, ffs, including the contents of the safe, whatever they turned out to be.

    This search was above board, by the book, and with just cause. See #660.

    Former presidents can declassify documents that they deemed classified at any point. They can't, however, declassify other documents of other former presidents.

    Who appointed him?

    I've been familiar with that for years - one of Trump's worst mistakes, imo.

    Mike Pompeo is lying out of his arse, when it comes to weaponization. The FBI executed a valid search warrant, nothing more, nothing less. All Mike Pompeo is arguing is that the FBI and the DOJ should not due their due diligence simply because it is Trump, period.
