I have been, my poorly educated friend. Your Whackoland musings are sad.

Explain why he stole the classified documents and refused to return them.

Why are you insinuating some crime associated with Trump's personal records being shippednto where he would be living so he could work with the Archives on what goes there and what stays with him and why does that require an FBI confiscation without a court ruling on it?

    WTF?

What is it you want from me?

What has come out of the Jan 6th Committee paints a picture that needs the DOJ to open up a case (though they are more than likely already doing that)

I'm not going to cite the law the chapter and verse, because as I said before, I AM NOT A LAWYER, but wrongdoing he did, and it falls within those previously mentioned categories. It certainly fits my definition of an insurrection.

We've been over this sad explanation. He had the documents for 1.5 years. How is the length of possession and refusal to return them "cooperating". Very strange.

We were talking about notifying the Secret Service. But you're correct they don't have to talk to tRaitor tRumps attorney; they were there to do a job. How do you know what they did or did not "present". Are you tRaitor tRumps attorney?

Are you playing dumb on purpose? Or is it that you came into a conversation half way through and don’t actually know what was being asked?

They weren't his personal records. And he refused to return the documents.

    "Personal records"? *LOL*

He can use the 25th to temporarily put the VP in charge who can then give him a full pardon. At which point he can resume his duties.

If it has taken seven years of trying to "get" Trump with nothing but failures, don't let the Democrats get your hopes up.

    Oh, my "Even Pence"

He's dumb enough to think he's showing leadership qualities as he and mother pray for Trump's fall.

I don't see why Garland and/or the FBI owe anyone, including Congress explanations/documents during an ongoing investigation.
F*ck em all, taken right out of Trump & Co's playbook.

A court did rule, maybe you missed that they had a warrant?
Why doesn’t he release the warrant? Might shed some light on this….

Okay ... thanks for the minimalist reply. Would it be too much to ask you the names of who was being interviewed and who was doing the interview? "A TV interview" tells me nothing about your source, or the credibility of your source.

(Geebus, why is it so hard to get clarity and complete answers from righties?)

Trump could be charged with violating the Espionage Act, former DOJ national security chief says
Michael Isikoff · Chief Investigative Correspondent
    Tue, August 9, 2022 at 6:19 PM

The former chief of the Justice Department’s national security division said Tuesday that the search of Donald Trump’s Mar-a-Lago home in Palm Beach, Fla., suggests that the former president could be charged with violating the World War I-era Espionage Act.

That law has traditionally been used to target government leakers, such as former NSA contractor Edward Snowden. But it also “actually has provisions that apply to essentially the mishandling [of classified material] through gross negligence, permitting documents to be removed from their proper place, or to be lost, stolen or destroyed,” Mary McCord, a veteran federal prosecutor who headed DOJ’s national security division in the closing years of the Obama administration, told the Yahoo News “Skullduggery” podcast.

McCord said that the Espionage Act is one of two federal crimes that appear to apply to Trump’s reported conduct. He could also be charged, she said, with violating another federal statute that targets anyone who “willfully and unlawfully conceals, removes, mutilates, obliterates, falsifies or destroys public records.”

    Any more questions?

Trump isn't immune from investigation for criminal misconduct, you know. There is nothing unconstitutional about investigating Donald Trump.
