    They are required by law to give him a copy of the warrant and a receipt for anything taken. I posted the law somewhere last night.

    Yea, all well and good but Garland filed a motion for a limited warrant material unsealing. The affidavit supporting the warrant will remain sealed unless Judicial Watch wins their motion. I predict it will be denied which would mean they would have to appeal it to a higher court.

    Good question. Trump was in negotiations with both the Archivist and the FBI. That means corroboration, not an urgency to get those documents before they were destroyed. Hell! Trump even did what the FBI suggested and installed a better padlock on the room where they were stored.

    It's not just the classified, but EVERY DOCUMENT GENERATED BY POTUS FALLS UNDER THE PRESIDENTIAL RECORDS ACT, they are not his to keep, PERIOD

    Hillary was guilty, but Comey decided no reasonable prosecutor would charge her (close to an election). And with Bill having a meeting with Lynch on a tarmac she probably told him she agreed with Comey and so he shouldn't worry about it.

    How's that conspiracy theory?

    No, I don't of course; but I believe the FBI/DoJ more than Trump. And I don't see why they wouldn't give him a copy.

    Now, if Trump gang objects to the unsealing of the warrant, we will know why he pretends not to have received it.

    Trump can lie as much as he can (can he do anything else?). But his lawyers will hesitate to play that game.

    Sorry for that, Mia, but this is a really candid question. Have you ever seen Trump comply to any law or rules?
    Besides, it would be stupid of him if (I should rather say when) he tries to make money out of some of these documents.

    exactly.......which brings us back to the question of WHY he took them and how was he going to use them???

    Also why did he not give them ALL back the first time the documents were removed from his castle .

    Why did he withhold them??
    No , he has not been "cooperative".

    It was rather foolish for him to say anything..........particularly start blaming everyone under the sun...........when he is the responsible for of his won actions.

    an aside....... but Biden has had a pretty good week......... the economy is showing signs of improving........... and all this is overshadowed by this crazy theater.

    Trump did not even have t o comment on this search...........so why draw attention to himself again
