No. He's been treated with kid gloves. It's about time he faces the music. And this is based upon what's in the public domain.

Trump had his chance. He must be afraid of her.

You're blindly missing the point of this exchange. Perhaps you should sit it out, before coming off like a fool.

    *LOL* Loookee! A meme!

What law, besides tax laws did Hunter Biden violate? Hillary? We've been through that ginned up bullshit. The French lady--she's been convicted. Fauci? *LOL* now telling us the truth in spite of the Orange Colon's prohibition on that is illegal?

Tell us how Fauci is a "criminal".

Trump is going to prison for the rest of his life.

Imagine how their heads will explode.

:roflol: Ok. You are dismissed for a prejudicial attitude. You may serve as a defense or prosecuting lawyer, but would be disqualified as a juror.

Cite the case. What charges did a Trump Department of Justice bring against Clinton in the four years it had to contrive something?

if you need to cite historical parallels to Trump's being exposed, Petraius and Berger are far more cogent.

In other posts you have said you want trump prosecuted if he broke the law, but you have also questioned this search. How can the FBI investigate without using the tools that are at their disposal?

IOW, as I pointed out, the DP's odds in the next election were looking up before this absurd botched raid on the leader of the opposition.

Trump wasn't cooperating. Quite obviously. His lawyers signed a statement saying all classified information had been turned over, in June. That was obviously untrue, based on the items that were seized.

He obstructed justice on at least 10 occasions. (Mueller Report) in addition to inciting an insurrection (1/6), violating campaign finance violations (Michael Cohen case), and violated GA state laws on interfering with election results. This is in addition to violating the Espionage Act, and laws related to the mistreatment of government documents.

    KABOOM!

Lawyers are usually careful about signing anything that might incriminate them.

Here's a question for you. Is evidence gathered at a "search" typically stored in an evidence room held pending a trial to avoid tampering with? Where are these documents being held?

DeSantis was hit? At his home or office?

    Didn't hear about that...

    Hi Natty.

We will see what justice will make about this curious case.

Anyway, if we make a Trump - Clinton comparison ... Hillary Clinton decided not to trust institutional servers [did she know that someone spied them? Or what?]. Trump decided to carry some classified [or no more classified ... he could have declassified them for real] memorabilia at home.
This is the most interesting aspect of the comparison:

Hillary did something technically illegal while she was in the office, Donald would have done something illegal after leaving the office.

I repeat, Donald's case is legally interesting. It could become a precedent: I'm thinking to become governor of Ohio and probably I will bring at home in Italy some memorabilia [less or more classified!].

Jokes aside, the development of this matter will be really interesting from a legal / institutional perspective.
In a few words: can a former President sustain that he declassified documents in private? Without following the regular procedure?
It's not so easy to answer this question, since it's clear that the President can classify and declassify everything when he [or she] wants.

    Let's wait and see.

IOW, she was not given a copy of the warrant until after the raid was over. A big mistake.
