FOX news is going to town with this Illegals in the Bus thing

Where did you come up with that? What vote? When? Got a link? And BTW, these are legal immigrants.

I see this as a win-win-win:

-- Abbott, DeSantis, and Ducey get to rid their states of people they view as undesirable.
-- The immigrants, misused as they are by this political tactic, will get processed and settled in much nicer places than AZ, TX, and FL.
-- The receiving communities will benefit by a boost in local economies when these new would-be citizens begin working, paying taxes, patronizing local small businesses, etc.

The communities being bombarded by buses and planes full of frightened and weary men, women, and children are coping quite well, by the way, doing what good, compassionate Americans have always done: rolling up sleeves and getting to work.

You don't want these legal immigrants in you neighborhood. That's your loss, and your community's. So sad that hate seems to be all you have for these new people.

Immigration has to be reduced to a level that society can absorb, but Congress has to do it, and even under Trump, he could not get it done

 

So the defense of this ridiculous stunt is “we’ll their actually in better conditions now” ? YES, because the people of MV and he governor of Mass actually were human beings and helped other human beings because they actually have empathy. But you gloss over what Desanits and Abbott were trying to do, which is not a trivial distinction here. Abbott and Desantis chose that place for 2 reasons, “rich liberals” and it IS an island where they could not just walk away from……What Desantis and Abbot didn't count on was the empathy of the American people. This stunt may resonate a little bit in MAGA world, but this is going to backfire HUGE on them, and already is starting. The press are already “following the money”, and thats going to get real interesting for them as the numbers coming out already are staggering….and YES, MAGA world wont care, they will support any dollar figure, but the rest of the country wont…..

Im also seeing that at the federal level they are looking into what can be done here. Remember, these governors live in AMERICA, and what they have done may have violated federal laws. In the end, IMHO, this stunt is going to backfire HUGE against these governors. Hell, Desantis only won his state election by less than 2 points…..But Desantis has intentions on running for President and he wont even make it out of the primaries. This may have made a portion of the MAGA crowd cheer, but MAGA is a minority in American politics……so enjoy the laugh while you still find it funny MAGA’s, it probably wont be very funny at election time, as the American people actually see the human beings here, not the “brown people” that the MAGA see

I’ve been saying the same thing for some time now. Both sides (politicians) use immigration to appeal to their bases. Repubs don’t want to stop illegals from coming into this country anymore than Dems do. Again, referring to politicians.

I lived in Hialeah Florida for many years .during my time there English become a second language ,,the entire Miami suburb is crawling with illegals from Cuba...running a samll busines while I was there once a month I would receive a phony tax number ,,

illegals think taxes are only for the rich...I had a guy quit after one week because I withheld taxes from his check

if deathsantis want to export illegals he should rent a boat and ship the illegal cubans back to Cuba

he could start at the coffee counter at Versailles on SW 8th street...go north to miami springs and then into hialeah

before being halfway through Hialeah, a cruise ship full of illegal Cubans could be found right in deathsantis back yard

What Abbott is doing is exposing the abject hypocrisy of the liberal establishment that is directly responsible for the predicament they have put his state in.
