3 still serving Republicans were members of the so called, "Gang of 8" lead by McCain. McCain himself would, during elections, sound like war time general. You'd have expected him to roll tanks out on the border. But as soon as he was reelected, he scurried back to Washington and worked on things like Amnesty. And when he thought no one was listening, he called the anti-immigration wing of the base the, "crazies". Republicans like Mitch McConnell may talk a good game against immigration, but he, for instance, doesn't even really want to win elections. He'd rather the polite controlled opposition as he and most other of the establishment of either party, believe they need to "replace" us. EDIT: I just read Tim Flake is out. Republican member of the Gang of 8. Exactly. If MAGA wins, the nose picking elite of the Republican party might have to actually, y'know, do things. They (And Democrats as they look upon their base) hate that. Better to run on generalities and broken promises than actually have to fix anything.
Trying to buy influence doesn't mean that it's actually bought. However we're not really going to know until he actually declares his candidacy and releases his agenda.
That's why I only bothered with a few examples off of the top of my head. I could dig up a whole bunch of 'em, but it's not worth it for someone like him who has no interest in accepting such information as true.
Right. We won't know for sure until he acts, but I think that the signs are very clear on this one, and the signs don't look good to me. For me, it is Trump 2024 or bust. I don't want anyone else.
Ok, so that's 3 Senators, and if your math says thats the dominant part aka establishment then lets write it down: The dominant part of the Republican party is pro-amnesty, and their voters vote more of the same. Happy?
Maybe he would have compromised amnesty for the other things he'd get in return. The bill had a border wall in it. It has massive increase in border patrol, drones, electric surveillance, you name it, - a ton of measures to stop future immigration. But no, now the 11 million are still here, and more have come in because that was 9 years ago. So, Republicans are pro-amnesty, but they oppose it anyway. Go figure. How could it, when your math tells you 3 > 47. You made your claim, and you stand by it. So be it. I don't lose sleep over people making inane claims in the internet.
MAGA has long joined them. A few were charged and indicted during trump presidency. But corrupt MAGA leader had to pardon their crimes against the country.
To me it's bust regardless. Trump, or any other Republican isn't going to win, and I wouldn't invest too much in that election. There! I made my first 2024 prediction!
Once bitten twice shy. An Amnesty was passed in 1986. It was a few hundred thousand and was to be followed by real enforcement. Instead, it was used by millions while allowing for untold millions more to pour into our country. Never, ever, under any circumstances, again. You came to our country illegally? Go away and try the legal way next time.
Never, under any circumstances.......not even if they built the wall first before any amnesty? If you're cool with status quo, then so be it. Sounds like the GOP is pro-amnesty anyway, so I don't get why they complain so much about something they ae supportive of.
MAGA is a nationalist movement, dude... MAGA loves the declaration of independence, the constitution, and the founding principles of this nation. It is the DNC/RNC who hate nationalism, hate the constitution, and have drifted so far away from the reasons why this nation was even formed to begin with.
A hard pill to swallow, but a truthful one nonetheless! That's part of the reason why I am sticking behind Trump... because he has already fought, and is still fighting for, my economic interests. He's fought unimaginable enemies, the whole system is against him (and me in extension), and I think it's only right to see it through until whatever end (to never jump ship from him and all that he's sacrificed for the heart of this nation).
LOL. There were no political prisoners. Another trait of MAGA, never accept any responsibility for anything. And blame as many others as possible.
Democracy was very much a part of declaration of independence, the constitution, and the founding principles and the maggats hate it with passion.
Democracy wasn't a part of any of that at all. The founding fathers did not implement a democracy, dude.
Yea, it was. The Constitution established a Federal democratic republic. As long at there is voting, we are a democracy, and the Constitution mentions "vote" no less than 37 times. But you accidentally proved my point, because I just said the MAGGATs piss on democracy, and you confirmed it by saying they don't even believe it exists in US. LOL And then again, - they don't believe it exists, but they stage a violent riot over the results of democratic elections. You couldn't make it up if you tried.
GOP elite, members of the Uni-Party love illegal aliens. They profit from them in so many ways. Examples include that you can get 20 of them to rent a single hovel for exorbitant amounts and work for low wages, driving down other legal workers wages down in the bargain. It's the rank and file that pay middle class taxes that want illegal immigration ended dead cold and major controls placed on legal immigration. But no, a wall would not make Amnesty OK. Done that once before. You entered the country illegally? Don't let the door hit you where the good l-rd split you.
No it wasn't. There is no such thing. Buzzword fallacy. What was established was a republic, specifically a federated republic. democratic election(s) ≠ democracy Irrelevant. Correct. Democracy is a piss poor form of government. It always dissolves into either an oligarchy or a dictatorship. The USA was never a democracy. It was always a federated republic. Nowadays, the USA no longer exists, as DC has been turned into an oligarchy. There are currently no democracies anywhere in the world. Redefinition fallacy. A peaceful protest is not a riot. There was no valid election held in 2020. I'm not making anything up. YOU are.
