I just counted my modest arsenal; I was surprised to learn we're in double digits. Ruger 556 AR 15 Winchester 12-ga pump Ruger 10/22 .22 rifle Ruger GP100 .357 (bedside gun, & one of my favorite guns to take to the range) Ruger LCR .357 (frequent CCW) 9mm Taurus G3C (CCW if I'm heading into a sketchy area) 9mm Glock 43x (wife's CCW) .38 Colt Detective Special (my CCW for a long time; presently the wife's bedside gun) .38 Colt Cobra (civilian version of the Detective Special, got a great deal on it once upon a time) 9x18mm Makarov (1st pistol I ever bought) .45/.410 Bond Arms Derringer More than I need, less than I want.
I consider myself a collector. However I won’t share the firearms I have on this public forum. You never know what Uncle Sam may deem illegal in the future. I will say that the majority are lever actions.
Thank-you! I would have been interesting to see the internationals response versus the American response
Are you stockpiling PVC pipe? ThT is what a lot of people did here - greased then up put them in PVC pipes sealed them and buried them. Government didn’t give a whoopsie because they were still “off the street”
No, not stockpiling anything. The government couldn’t track down firearms if they wanted to. i have some guns I haven’t even shot and don’t even have ammo for. Literally just a collectors gun. As far as guns being hid in your country, I think that’s a good thing. In the scenario of an invasion at least some citizens will have access to some form of defense.
As I said - the government knows there are even semi- automatics out there buried in backyards but as long as they are off the street and out of use they can stay there
I suppose technically and legally I own zero firearms. My family members have so many I have never seen a need to buy one. Pretty much anything I would want to use is readily available to be borrowed. The only thing resembling a gun in my house is the barrel of a black powder rifle someone dropped off a couple years ago to give to my brother and every time my brother comes by it is one of those "Oh, I forgot about that. I'll get it next time."
I own 8. I was going to get an AR-10, but opted against it because there are no good places nearby where you can shoot long range.
I used to own a black powder Colt replica. It was fun to shoot holes in the ice when I lived up north. Loved to see the fire shoot out of the barrel after dark.
Zero. I'd kind of like to own some, but my wife is opposed to it and I don't care enough to make an issue of it. I have a bow but haven't shot it lately. Have throwing knives but it's been even longer for using those. Kids, kids, kids, video games, weightlifting, running, swimming and forum is enough lately.
Unfortunately, my X took them all in the divorce. Seriously, she only took her 3 pistols. Bersa Thunder Plus .380, Ruger Security 9, Kimber Micro 9
I have never used one TBH and know very little about them. One year our dad decided he was going to buy everybody one for Christmas when some place had a good deal on them. I told him I would rather he pay for my college textbooks in January so he did that instead. I'd rather use a semi-auto .30-06 than actually have to work just to take a single shot if I am hunting deer. But, other than a half-hearted dove hunt once every few years, I don't go into the field any more which is why I don't need a gun. I can just borrow one of the pump action shotguns I have been using since I was tall and strong enough to shoot with them. We have a Remington 16 gauge that I almost never miss a dove with. Everything about that gun makes it a perfect fit for me. Told my dad I was swiping it before I call the undertaker to pick him up.
