So did Disney create this scene to make white people hate themselves or what?

Question for Disney: If slaves built this country, then why aren’t their home countries the equivalent of ours?

I can tell you've never seen an episode of The Proud Family at all.

Also, why are you using one Twitter post as a source?

Slaves didn't build The United States. That's an historical lie.

Sounds like you didn't pay attention in history class, or where ever you went just didn't teach it accurately.

Quite the opposite. I'm an historian and I can tell you that slaves didn't build The United States. That's a lie that's been pushed by the Leftists for years (decades?)

It doesn't make me hate myself at all. I'm not proud or ashamed of anything people did before i was born. I didn't have anything to do with it.

Why would it make you feel that way?

Slaves were labor and not designers, creators or decision makers.

Feel free to post documentation that even comes close to proving wrong.

I'll start with this, to debunk the lie that The White House was built completely with slave labor...

Slaves are still building the world today.

Slaves mine metals that go into our iphones or Tesla batteries.

Slaves build the phones we use.

Let's not pretend that slave labor isn't still the fuel for our economy.

here’s another take on this story.

New Disney Cartoon on Slavery May Be the Wokest Thing I've Ever Seen

There are several problems here, beginning with the fact that it’s just incredibly divisive and harmful to teach children eight generations removed from slavery that they are oppressed victims due to the suffering of their ancestors. Anyone who watches that clip and is impressionable is going to walk away thinking they have a right to be angry at and punish those that don’t look like them. Personally, I think that’s a pretty screwed-up thing to teach children.

It’s not just the top-level result of such content that is the issue, though. It’s also that many of the claims being made are just flatly untrue. It is a grossly inaccurate simplification of American history to teach kids that “Slaves built this country.” Slavery contributed to parts of the early economy in the United States, but it did not build the country into what it is today (or even what it was a hundred years ago).

If slaves built the country, then is truly amazing that there is anything above the Mason-Dixon Line. Slavery had pretty much died out in most northern states by 1800, and there were few African-Americans living in those areas during antebellum period.

Slaves were forced to grow a lot of cotton, but by the 1850s the slavery system was dying out in states like Virginia because it was not economically efficient. Sadly many slaves were sold “down the river” to the Deep South. That’s how Virginia slave owner recouped their investment.

Disney has morphed into the most bigoted place on earth for “the happiest place on earth.” The company has really strayed from its once successful business model.

    Lol from your link
    So yes, not completely….
Stonemason Collen Williamson trained enslaved people on the spot at the government's quarry at Aquia, Virginia. Enslaved people quarried and cut the rough stone that was later dressed and laid by Scottish masons to erect the walls of the President's House.

The problem is this is the first time I've ever been on any forum and someone used only a Twitter post as the source for the OP. And a weird Twitter page at that.

Also, like I said earlier, clearly no one here has seen as episode of The Proud Family.

I still don't see the problem. The thread is about a video and the video is in his URL
Here is a different source if it matters so much

Also, how very convenient to leave out information about how the slaves were aquired
